This orchard has been going for over a century. They regularly offer tours and tastings with over 100 apple varieties. It also includes a cafe and rustic playground. It's subsequently a charming spot to chill out for the afternoon with your family as the kids can explore the surroundings.

Wow! Can't believe I've only just found out about this place! Whilst I didn't actually look at the fresh fruit - ah duh! why would you go to an orchard and look at the fresh produce!!!! Actually a bit spewing i didn't now but there was so much lovely food to look at!

The cakes and slices wowee!!! now THIS is what you want from a cafe!! Not just the cakes that are made an brought into cafes these are well thought out interesting bites to have with your coffee - apple pie/ apple slice/ apple and rasp slice/ choc and walnut flourless cake/ flourless orange/ spinach fetta and olive slice (quiche of sorts delicious!) savoury muffins, two types of friands the list is ENDLESS!!! The range of organice/health foods was great - pepita spread? hullo! coconut spread? interesting like a snowball on toast! heaps and heaps of amazing stuff here and the staff!!!

Well they were just so friendly and lovely!

This is a relaxed place which is great when you have kids! And there is a bit of a playground....acutally a good size one plenty of swing sets and a slide and a tractor!

Cakes $4.50 or thereabouts great price and about $6.50 for slice oh and they sell pies toO!!! yummo! butter chicken/ roast lamb/ beef and burgandy!

coffee was pretty good. can't complain

dirt floors outside seating so don't go dressing up to come to this establishment! but you stay for as long as you like and get some fresh produce whilst your there!

Approximate cost: $5.00

Petty's Orchard is an orchard as you would expect! but it also has a cafe and play area for kids. The coffee and cakes are really lovely and the staff were so helpful. There is a change table for babies in the toilets and lots of room for little ones to run around. The coffee and cakes are reasonably priced, the organic produce is pricey (but all organic stuff seems to be pricey really). What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon (or morning).

Unique antique apple orchard with wetlands and bird hide.
Sells their produce directly to public.
You can try all kinds of apples here.
