As owner of Phatwater - we strive to give the very best to our customers with fantastic products.

There is 2 reviews negatively impacting our business and that is because we refuse to GIVE AWAY FREE products these customers wanted, they have received service far beyond what many company's will give these days, and this is how they repay the good service they have received.

With over 20,000 customers if we had flawed or faulty products the internet would be flooded with complaints, but yet there is only 2, this shows the calibre of the reviewers, and these reviewers have only made 1 review that is of our company, if these were genuine reviews and reviewers there would be a list of company's they are writing about. The 2 reviews are nothing more than a vindictive way at getting back to our company.

I have purchased a couple of Stage 8 shower filters from this company. To date 3 of the 4 plastic screw-on ends have split and rendered the filters useless. The fault, I believe, is in either the design or the quality of the materials used in the manufacture or in the quality control, period. I have contacted the company 3 times, twice I have been advised to purchase more ends more ends as replacements at my expense. The last time I spoke to a gentleman who proceeded to tell me that it was my fault because I was not replacing the cartridges often enough, thereby causing such a build up in water pressure that the caps failed. When I challenged him on this, given that I regularly cleaned the filters so that at no time did the water flow actually stop, I was told again that it was still my fault because I did not change the filters regularly enough. Oh really? In other words, to me,there is a fault with the product because it can't handle fluctuations in household water pressure, and will eventually break. I tend to agree with the person who left one of the other comments,not a good company to deal with and I don't know about their other products, but if they are manufactured by the same organisation that produces the Stage8 Shower Filter, they could also be rubbish. LET THE BUYER BEWARE!!!

Johnc, nope i never had an issue with the shower filters, nor the reverse osmosis system, i have always found it easy going and straight forward, i also never had issues with the screw on caps on the ends. However i do have to add i am assuming as you say you have multiple units, so you obviously like the shower filters right.? Why is it you never added a positive review to this company when you purchased them.? Don't you also think if it was a design flaw like you comment that there would be more than your complain online.? Before i made this comment i went online to search for complaints about this company and specifically the screw on caps, and not 1 complaint except for yours, don't you think if it's a design fault there would be more than your comment.? You know i can't blame that company for not being helpful, had you gone up and made a positive review when you purchased i am sure the company would be more than happy to show their appreciation for your kind gesture, but yet in fact you and the review below do completely the opposite, you only whinge and moan when things don't go your way and say it's the companies fault for not bending over backwards to rectify your issue. As for purchasing more replacements, i dont see this company any different than any other company, if it is within warranty period they have to replace the items, if out of warranty and you want to keep using the product then of course you will need to buy replacements if they break - it's the way of the world Johnc.

As i said i have had no issues with my filters i am more than happy with the service i get from the filter company.

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with - you can
only contact them via email (which goes unanswered for days) or mobile phone
which a very surly man sometimes answers - he's the one who is charming when
he is selling you the system.
The tap provided is, by his admission, useless and was replaced twice before
I bought my own and had it replaced by my plumber.
It was two days before my request for a service was replied to and then the
only time they could attend was a Saturday in three weeks. My husband
waited in for this much needed service all afternoon. Phatwater messaged me
that no-one was home so he left – the bell at our front door rings 3 phones
in the house. We were told to re-book and pay for the missed call.
Rather than continue to deal with this company I have had the three year old
system replaced by another company.

Anne. Whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion, we have gone out of our way to make you happy, we are located in Malaga and travel to Fremantle to you over a very minor drip of a tap in which we told you it is likely the O ring and all you need do is firmly push down on the spout, however you maintained you require a tech out, which we did on several occasions and charged you $0.00 in the end after 3-4 call outs we suggested you spend a few dollars to get a heavy duty tap as the taps that come with our units we do not manufacture and they are basic models, but you did not want to spend the money to give you peace of mind. As for the call out we called all numbers available, we rang the bell multiple times, you arranged this call out but failed to mention you were in Bali at the time.? We did everything possible and waited for over 25 minutes, when we got no contact we moved on to the next customer - i'm sorry but we have alot of customers we cannot wait around all day in hoping someone is going to answer the door. I'm astound at tens of thousands of shower units sold and Water Filters also in tens of thousands there is 2 complaints made about our company and service.? I guess it speaks for itself..!!

I ordered a water filter online a few weeks back, found out these guys are local, called asked a million questions, never felt rushed at all, got some really helpful information, found out they did shower filters as well got a discount for ordering both, was delivered next day wow astounded...instructions were straight forward but i had problems on my side fitting one of the connections, they had a tech in the area next day, he came around saw my issue fixed it and had pure water ever since...I LIKE THESE GUYS..!! and both filters came with 12 months warranty..i am very pleased with the both the shower filter and drinking water filter...

Approximate cost: $560
