The Pho here is good, although definitely not the best I've had. At $13 for a (big!) bowl of rare beef noodle pho, it is fantastic value, the beef is also very tender and tasty, and arrives with generous servings of beansprouts, herbs, lemon, etc.
Although the pho doesn't blow me away, I really enjoy coming here for the wide range of vietnamese drinks - sweet red bean, vietnamese iced coffee, three colour drink and assorted fruit shakes (passionfruit, watermelon, lychee, avocado, etc.) which are very well-priced at ~$5 each.
Pretty good pho and a huge menu if you want to try something different. Although there is something to be said about the hygiene of this place.
Pho was nice and classic, nothing weird or wonderful. Decor rather normal. They do have a fairly large menu, though. Probably not my first choice in Eastwood, but then again I'm a bigger fan of other cuisine..
Love Pho, Will have to give this place a try! Thanks for the review!
I enjoy coming here when dining out for dinner with friends! Tonight was no exception... we ordered the grilled pork chop with rice and the beef noodle pho soup! The suprosong thing was the pork didn't actually taste like pork more like a jerky texture, but was tasty! The pho never fails to disappoint ,arriving piping hot and I dressed mine with lots of chilli, mung beans, mint , fresh lemon and hoisin sauce.
Great food at great prices, will definitely come back!
Approximate cost: $8.50 +
This is one of few restaurants to eat at Eastwood. They have extensive menu but I always order the same thing, crispy skin chicken with rice, really difference with other Vietnamese restaurants. The service is also perfect and very good price.
