We had a voucher which was $19 for two adult tickets and a snack. We got there and were informed the snack was 1 large popcorn and a soft drink each. I was allowed to exchange mine for a Choc Top which had been made onsite and had a thick layer of chocolate around it.
The lad serving us was lovely and helpful. There was an elevator option but we chose to take the stairs and it was a good 3 flights of stairs to get tickets then down a flight, up a slope and up two flights to be at our seats (yes, I predicted I'd get lost leaving and I did). We loved the pink decor and could imagine that it had been a cabaret hall, full of can can dancers. We were in cinema 3 and the steep climb to the seats meant standing up in front of our seats gave us vertigo but this also meant no one's head was in our way as we watched the movie.
The lavatories needed a little work (no sanitary disposal units, no soap, doors needed kicking open and closed) and the place was a little run down but for me this just added to its charm.
this little cinema needs some major makeover work especially to tier the rows of seats so that everyone can see the screen. Kept thiinking there was a training running below us as the seats were shaking but then realised that the guy at the other end of the row couldnt sit still. Dont think these seats are properly screwed down and are a bit unstable. very pleased with the half price tuesday tickets which enabled me to buy some popcorn, but would have loved a nice coffee too.
Approximate cost: $15
