I love the Piccadilly Cinemas.
We like to sit in the middle rows to see better, so the size of the screen is a non-issue. In fact, we find the experience at the Picaddilly is more full and engaging, because there is usually less of a crowd, so you don't get distracted by the crunching, the chatting, the screen flashes (even if the phone is on silent, the screen still emits a huge amount of light when patrons check their silly phones!).

The cinema itself is lovely. It still has the old-world decor. The bathrooms are glamorous, the fittings in the foyer art deco elegance, and yet the cinema is comfortable and renovated enough to give an experience comparable to other small-medium cinemas such as the Nova.

I can't say it enough: the Piccadilly deserves your patronage, it's fantastic!

Ps - cheap Tuesday tickets too!

I love the classic feel of this old cinema, it's one thing you miss when you go to any other new cinema. The pricing here is generally slightly less than some of the other large chain cinemas, and the seating is comfortable without sticky floors.

It's good how you can get $10 tickets all the time everyday if you bring another 9 ppl with you. I always go to nova palace cinemas on Mondays due to the $8 tickets but if you want to save about $5-6 bucks on other days instead of buying a regular ticket, buy the group tickets here. Worth it!! However I wish they had a bigger screen and a more comfortable seat thou.

I go to Piccadilly cinemas all the time. You cant really go wrong with a cinema. The building is magnificent. Unfortunately the snacks are really expensive but that is across the board. The service at Piccadilly is really good. They are informative and eager to please. It's always a good night out, unless the movie is crap. =D
