My partner loves this place for their parmas, they are huge and apparently the best he has had. I find the vegetarian range disappointing so hopefully the menu is update soon :)

Inside is very homely and staff are friendly and inviting. The name may turn you off but the food is nice and haven't had a problem with it before. Large open area and would recommend it.

The name wasn't too welcoming but when I entered I was greeted with warmth and friendly staff. When placing order food was served with great flavour and presentation. Affordable meals and I wouldn't think twice to dine here again.

The meals were great and many staff were ready to take your order. Great for large functions and tastes great. If you are ever in the area I suggest you try them out yourselves.

Just around the corner from our house sits this great little pub. Great food and a range of British beers is complimented by the good service. A top score for a top spot.

Fond memories of dining here with my kids. Sat outside on a sunny day and enjoyed a shared lunch. Quality of food was great (or we just starving hungry), loved the atmosphere here.

We had a great time - recommended, it's a great spot to grab lunch or a snack.

Great place, great atmosphere, lovely staff. Definitely try the pork belly. So popular, it needs more car park. Had a bit of trouble in that department.

I've stopped here on a winter day, and had a hot chocolate beside the open fire. Absolutely beautiful. Lovely atmosphere.

Pig and whistle is the to go place when I am around Dandenong Ranges. The place is a bit dated, but it is a country pub and they are not pretending to be something they are not. The food is simply amazing. Their garlic bread is made from fresh home made sourdough. The pork belly is a must try if you like it a little sweet and succulent. My partner likes the fresh fish and chips. The piggie plate is full of variaty. Actually I've never had a bad meal from here. The service is good, the waitress generally knows the dishes and will recommend half portion, so you have some tummy for the dessert. The price is surprisingly affordable. I almost forgot to mention the free frangelico in chocolate shell as you leave the door. A happy ending indeed.

I love this place so much. This is one of my favorite restaurants to dine in and have been coming here for years. The food is quite nice and the variety of beers/ale is good. The atmosphere is relaxing though at times it does get a little cramped

We went to a wedding here. It was pretty great! We could choose our own meal from the menu - i thought that was great to have at a wedding. The meals were beautiful. The grounds outside were lush and green and beautiful for photo's and to sit in.

Visited for dinner during the week which was a mistake. The waitress told us that they were not expecting this many people in that night so were short staffed. If you are told this then take my advice and leave now !This led to an hour wait for the meals to arrive. We were getting up to leave when they finally arrived and I'm sorry to say the food was not of a resonable standard. The steak was overcooked for Medium and was basically inedible. Maybe if you are planning to come stick to Friday or Saturday night ?

The menu items are all delicious and amazingly good value - highly recommend the home made sourdough rye cob with butter/olive oil/red wine vinegar/salt/pepper. The service is friendly and efficient, it has a great atmosphere. They do lunch, dinner, alfresco dining in Summer with a children's play area and open fireplace in winter. English Beers are on Tap along with a range of imported beers and open 7days/nights. Popular with the locals which speaks for itself!
