We were looking forward to a lovely Italian meal with our family, and sadly were treated so rudely by, what seemed to be the head waitress (she did not introduce herself), because we ordered a meat dish (pork) which was so tough, it was almost inedible. After taking the plate away, she returned to inform us that she tried the 'second piece' on the same plate and it was 'perfect'! Rather than make a scene, we accepted the offer of another meal. The chef came out and was apologetic and we were happy with that. BUT, this particular woman could not help herself. Toward the end of the meal she approached me and asked if I was the one who had phoned ahead and asked if they had carbonara because 2 of our party didn't care for anything else they had viewed on the menu prior to our visit. As it turned out, these 2 did not want to be difficult so they ordered an alfredo dish on the menu instead of the carbonara (how difficult would it have been to just add some bacon to it!?). This woman actually said to me that they had to 'order in special ingredients just for my request'!!! Hello? Italian restaurant? Hmmm. What restaurant has to order in 'specially', bacon and eggs and cream (these items are actually in other dishes on the menu by the way). So, for choosing to be spiteful and vindictive, she has cost the business patronage of anyone I know. If you are reading this, I recommend you try one of the other lovely restaurants in the Swan Valley. I have been to a few and never had a problem, with the food or the staff.

Went here on a Swan Valley wine tour. A lovely family owned winery. Cellar door tasting was nice, with the Chenin Blanc being impressive. Prices reasonable

Approximate cost: $20

My dad has been going to Pinelli for years and they have supplied our family with wine for all our big functions. When dad mentioned to them that I was getting married they mentioned they could do the Bonbonnieres for the wedding. They made up 375ml bottles of their famous port and labeled them with personalised wedding labels - they turned out fantastic! We are thrilled with the end product and the great service we've come to know and expect from this friendly, family run business.
