I totally agree!! It is absolutely amazing that they passed accreditation last year. They do not cater for allergies well - with a few parents complaining their child had been given their allergy food. The staff don't model sunsmart policy - they sit around in the playground and chat instead of interacting with the children. I have overheard the staff speaking to the children in inappropriate ways and having inappropriate conversations in front of them. Some children are actually scared of one particular staff member. Complaints from parents are often ignored and I know one parent who left in disgust at the lack of a challenging 3-6 program and the manner in which her child, who had separation anxiety, was treated by these complacent staff. Pippies needs a new director and some of the staff need to be turned over if they have a chance of being a decent centre to attend.
