PJ Pools.
It's been a nightmare. I've sacked the tradies, the supervisor is a joke and no one at head office communicates or even cares! Contractors turn up when they want and do what they want.
When you ring the authorities to tell them about the bad workmanship all they care about is the fence that surrounds the pool. There is no guidelines about contractors building a pool.
My advice is if you want a pool build it as a owner/ builder. You will put your heart and soul into it and the end result will be happy and not a big hole joke in the ground.
So I'll do everthing in my powers to promote PJ pools as the joke/ lemon pool builder of the year.

We are the happy owners and users of a PJ pool and feel confident that we have chosen well. Each step in the installation process happened with a minimum of fuss and generally speaking the trades were friendly and quite chatty. The end product looks fantastic and maintenance is a dream. Our only disappointment was a lack of advice when we adjusted the design so the steps are too wide for the width of the lap pool.

Complete nightmare, trades are seriously unskilled in the art of building, damage to existing house and deck during demolition. They do not return correspondence, we never knew when they were going to turn up to do any work, sometime on month going by without anything being done. They had no supervision on the job, inferior quality workmanship and problems took 10 months to fix. Rubble was left on site for 4 months. Lack of quality control - read zero control, that was left to me to push for rectification work and the salesman was pushy. If you want your marriage to survive - do not hire this company, the interior of the pool was okay in the end but what an absolute debacle to get there. Pool renovation that took 15 months to complete. Spend your money elsewhere.

I built my pool with PJ pools and the experience was fantastic.
our pool was built according to the contract specs and there where no hidden costs. We have had our pool in for 2 years now and are extremely happy.

Brand new pool finished late. Had issues with the finish of the pool & after dozens of phone & or emails finally got them to rectify. I felt like i was harassing them, just to get PJ Pools to discuss the problem. This was over a period of 6 + months. Very disappointing customer service. In the end they did rectify the problem however We would not recommend this company. All we wanted was a quality pool finished to a standard & time that they promised along with good communication & service - only partly happened.

I am currently having a pool renovated by Pj pools. I was delighted with the sales girl and went with this company as they seemed professional, what a mistake that was. I have been waiting from around September to have my pool completed it is now 21st December. When I asked about how long the pool would take when signing the contact I was advised around 8 weeks and I made comment that I wanted the pool for Christmas, I was told the pool will be done well before this time and the sale girl scoffed at the fact it would be any ware near Christmas. After being told 2 weeks ago the pool would be finished today, I received a message it would now be the 9th of January. I am so disappointed to say the least, IMO the supervisor is less than professional. Alway arrives unannounced, I have had to point out errors to him for example pool lights on the wrong side tile cut outs around old plumbing that should have been blocked. I just want what I was promised. My experience so far is expensive and over promise under deliver.

We had our pool installed 2 years ago. Since then the filter has exploded. Now 2 years down the track I have had to get another pool company in to asses it as the pump has stopped, the filter cartridge has cracked. The other pool company told me that they put a filter in that is for a spa not a full sized pool. I am so disappointed. I have been trying to call them over the filter cartridge for 8 months and they do nothing. Worst company ever, worst customer service ever. And very over priced. Don't use them other wise you will end up with a pool that doesn't work

We had an in ground concrete pool installed into the backyard. We started in May 2010 and after reviewing loads of pool information and various companies we braced ourselves for all sorts of problems. This did not happen, PJ Pools were fabulous, from the very start of sending out the sales & engineering staff, to handling the permits & plans and then the construction they exceeded our expectation in every area. Even contract tradesman were friendly, helpful, always on time and a pleasure to have in your backyard. I could not believe it. PJ Pools finished our pool by July 10 as promised and with no delays or issues. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
