We were ‘recommended’ to buy the special emperor and chips from the lady at the counter as they had no flake which we wanted to order . Firstly We weren’t able to order the fish special on its own and order seperate large chips which we thought was a bit silly. If you want to buy separately you order from the fish shop next door with an extra $3 charge So we went ahead and ordered 3x fish and chip specials. Around $15 each. Plus 2x Pluto pups all up cost around $47. One of the emperor (recommended) fish pieces was so tough we couldn’t cut it with a knife !! And it really wasn’t the nicest tasting fish. Small pieces of fish also. My partner was so mad he called the shop to let them know with no recognition and got made out to be making it all up and then hung up on. Will never take the risk going to this place again!

Nice fresh seafood from this restaurant. Have it cooked and eat by the river or buy fresh from the market to take home and cook for yourself.

Approximate cost: $15

Great value for money the food is fresh and taste great. It is a bit of a mess though with bird dropping everywhere outside on the deck but if you don't mind sitting with the birds, the deck has a nice view over the water. A great place if your craving some fish and chips because you get heaps.

Approximate cost: $6.00

This place has gone downhill from what I remember when I was little. It still has very fresh fish though. There is a cold room you go in and pick your fish and pay for it, then they take it and cook it for you, or you can take it home fresh. They used to have a man that fed the pelicans out the back but I think he's stopped doing that. It was like a mini tourist attraction as literally a hundred or so pelicans would turn up. They are still worth the drive out if you are down that way though and I prefer them to the seafood place next door with the big fish out the front.
