Went here just yesterday for brekkie. Coffee was lovely, not overheated, just right. I ordered a cheesy omellete which i think may have been a mistake as it was just too cheesy for me. The omelette looked positively sweaty with the cheese! My partner and other company ordered eggs benedict and eggs on toast and they said it was quite delicious, so next visit i will try them! Nevertheless, the portions are very generous for the price, the toast is thick cut with lots of butter, and the hash browns are huge and crispy.
Worth a visit if you are up that way to check it out!

I used Harcourts to book my accommodation. i like to stay in private residences not hotels or resorts and Harcourts found a lovely little apartment that was basically brand new (its not on google maps yet!)
It was furnished and set out so well I could have easily lived there. Full kitchen, plenty of linen and towels, laundry, extensive inclusions such as cold water in the fridge, milk, coffee, sugar, tea, dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent etc. Even a HUGE lcd tv, dvd player, ipod dock and stereo. All for only $100 a night, far better than any other place I had contacted.
I highly recommend giving them a call or shooting them an email if you are looking to travel up that way any time soon, you will save so much money and the service is much more personal.

This review is for Cruise Whitsundays, Airlie Beach QLD

Cruise Whitsundays is the company I choose to book any cruises I go on in the Whitsundays. This year I booked two cruises with them and received a 50% discount for booking two at once, which I thought was fantastic. The cruises are well organized, the staff are attentive and great natured, always up for a joke (I would be too if I worked there!) They also put on a great spread of food if you take one of their catered cruises.
This is one of those must do things when you go to the Whitsundays.

Talk about captive audience. The only reason this cafe lives is because there is no where else to grab a coffee and a bite to eat at 7:30am while waiting for your cruise to depart. The women are literally rude to you as if you have inconvenienced them by being there. The food is horrendously expensive. I paid $6 for a half toasted sandwich with a slice of cheese, some unripe tomato (which i chucked out) and a sliver of ham in it. Coffee is $4, one size only, and only comes in burnt to a crisp. I think everyone goes here begrudgingly, I went back the next day as I desperately needed coffee...you just dont have a choice!

Wonderful little cafe that I walked past a hundred times before finally stopping there for breakfast on my last day in the Whitsundays.
The coffee was perfect! The latte was not scorching, just the right temperature and thick and delicious.
I ordered the big breakfast and they werent kidding! A huge spread of eggs, bacon, tomato,a mountain of buttery toast, hash browns and breakfast sausages (pork i think). I didnt need to eat again until dinner time!

This place isnt meant to be spectacular. Its just a great little spot to grab a couple cold beers and a $10 steak for lunch or a schnitzel.
This last visit was my second time, last time was a year ago and I was pleased to see the same young girl running the place, doing a better job than most even though she had her arm in a cast!
Food was great, not fancy on the plate but a good sized steak, great crunchy chips, nice salad, and cold frosty drinks.
Great place to stop in for a bite if youre in Airlie Beach on a budget!

Not so pleased with this one. We had a shop-a-docket voucher so thought we'd give it a whirl while on holiday. For $20 we were given a large pizza to share and two glasses of house wine. The service left a lot to be desired. Firstly after handing over out pizza voucher the lady then asked what we wanted. Pizza maybe?
We were handed drinks vouchers to go get our drinks ourselves. When the pizza arrived I had to ask for some plates for us to eat off as we had none or any cutlery.
Lastly, you expect house wine to be not the best wine ever, but this wine was not drinkable at all. Im a 24 yr old just out of uni, and even I couldnt get past a couple sips!
Plenty of room for improvement at this place!!

Wow. From outside this place doesnt look like much, but on entering and seeing others meals being brought out we knew we were in for a treat. The staff are kind and attentive (only downfall was when we were there, there was just one girl greeting, seating and serving so she was a little snowed under)
The food is delicious. Two standouts would have to be the pumpkin soup that came with the entree (creamy and nutty and delicious) and the Choc Fudge Sundae dessert. What I had expected to be a plain old dessert turned out to be a gastronomical explosion of chocolate, cream, brownie, butterscotch sauce, ice cream and strawberries with hot choc sauce!

The food here is flawless. I was absolutely stuffed. We found this place through a scoop-on voucher. The only downfall is the staff. The woman who seated us and took our order had a very basic understanding of English. It would have been better if one of the other staff had served us. I still highly recommend this place for Indian.

This place was recently cut down to about 1/4 of its size. It used to have a large fresh fish area, where you could get every imaginable fish, crustacean etc. Its just okay now, most of the fish is already crumbed (which i dont like cause I cant see the quality or freshness of the fish). The old lady thats always there is really nice though, and she remembers that we like buttered bread with our hot chips, so she butters some bread herself for us.
