I was lucky enough to receive a voucher for Planet Cake and booked into their Basic 1 class. After a full day of ganaching, icing and decorating I left with a beautiful round cake with heart details. My teacher was full of knowledge and helped everyone with any issues they were having. I learnt so much from this course and have been putting it into practice at home. Paris came and had lunch with us and answered all of our questions. While it isn't cheap it is definitely worth every cent. I will be back when I'm in Sydney again!

People there are friendly down to earth and responsible.They care about their brand and will do everything to keep it up.

I have done six of the courses here (3 Basic, 2 Novelty, 1 Cupcake) and it is unsurpassable. The standards are the best and you are shown many different techniques to achieve certain tasks. As opposed to some other courses you do walk away with a cake, or cupcakes, to show for all your hard work. It is usually quite a tough, fast paced day and if you're thinking it is a social event it is not. Although it can seem a little expensive if you are wanting to decorate regularly as a hobby or professionally this is the best place! Plus the lunch they serve is usually pretty filling and there is cake at the coffee station all day. You also don't have to supply your own tools and everything they have is good quality.

This is a first class business and well worth the investment if a REALLY impressive cake is what you're after. I'm really pleased to see their popularity grow through their involvement in the Royal Easter Show and MasterChef. The cake they made for me was the absolute centrepiece at my wedding and memorable for all our guests. The design team really worked with us to create a design that combined our input and personalities with practical considerations.

Quite expensive but they will definitely show you the best ways to make a fabulous piece of design. Been back the 2nd time will definitely go again maybe when there is more specials. Lots of hints and tips and demos shown. Step by step instructions. Definitely recommend for cake lovers.

This place makes the most amazing looking cakes and cupcakes! I've been to one of their cupcake decorating courses and they treat you with respect whilst still teaching effectively. At the end of the day I went home with a lot of beautifully iced (and scrumptious) cupcakes!
