Used a Groupon Voucher, that gave us a hot breakfast item, Coffee, Juice and access to the continental breakfast bar as well. Very good value. The service was quick and friendly and the meal quality was excellent.
Great location – is part of the Comfort Inn and over looks the Marina at Glenelg. Couldn’t find 1 fault with this place. Be very happy to go back 9.5/10

I do enjoy the breakfast buffet option. They appear on Groupon/Scoopon now. Not sure if they're looking for more business...
Need to visit soon
We have always enjoyed our visits here, but last visit was a shocker. Breakfast a-la-carte menu was cancelled and we could only purchase a $20 buffet breakfast (not good for a vegan!). Our drinks order was completely forgotten and my meal was dropped into my handbag (lots of cleaning required). Not likely to revisit.
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant as I have heard both good and bad things, mainly on the bad side. I will not be going here. Thanks for reviewing.
Hi Antheam2, thanks for your review. We agree with RedDwarfâ?¦the many (negative) reviews for this business are more than a little off putting. You most certainly had a right to be disappointed by their decision to cancel their a-la-carte menu, replacing it instead with a buffet. Being a family of vegetarians, we are regularly disappointed by â??buffet-styleâ?? meals, as they frequently offer disappointing and unimaginative selections. As for the wait staff literally dropping your meal into your handbag, this is incredible! Out of curiosity, how did the business react to this incident and what did they do in order to rectify their mistake? Thanks again for another useful review. Regards, Reeces
Have been a fan of this place for great cakes and coffee for a while now but just lately the cappacino is just too weak, more like hot milk and water very disappointing and i refuse to pay a dollar for an extra shot !!

We love a Sunday breakfast at Plank. There's the buffet option which is quite good, especially if you're really hungry, or my favourite is the delicious Eggs Benedict. Always good, and always with good service.
