I've been back a few times now, & every time they are fabulous. This last time I scooted in the door just a few minutes before close, but the girls were happy to do my brows and stay open a little bit late to accommodate me.
You guys Rock, great job!

I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time here. The girl was fast, efficient and did a really good job. She explained what I needed to do to maintain them and which bits to grow out to get the look that I want. For how little time I was in there and minimal product was used (no wax etc, just the thread) I thought it was on the expensive side. However, I am really happy with the result and will definitely go back. I have received lots of compliments on my new eyebrows.

I went into Play Brow and Lash Bar today after having read other reviews on this site first. I had previously been going somewhere else but with my last visit leaving me very dissatisfied I decided to look elsewhere. All I can say is, thank god I did!

I travelled the 20 mins over to Fitzroy today for Mandeep to give me the best brows I think I've ever had. They are not too thin and she has shown my how to get the best arch and shape from my brows. I was also impressed by her selling skills because I also walked out with a bottle of Brow Grow (an oil that will promote growth on my little baby hairs) and I didn't feel pressured in any way shape or form in buying it.

Mandeep made sure I was 100% satisfied with my brows before putting aloe vera on them, mineral makeup and brow creme and I felt a million bucks and I got out of that chair!

I was initially traumatized by the idea of threading, but a friend recommend the place and the idea. So i popped in on my lunch break and was seen after a short wait, with no appointment!
The lady was lovely, as gentle as possible and very reassuring which i so desperatley needed!

I feel so lucky that through a chance purchase on Groupon I have come to discover the wonders of Play Brow and their expertise. I had never had my eyebrows threaded before, so Play Brow's eyebrow expert Mandeep in South Yarra revealed a whole new world to me. I am not much of a pamper-person, so feel that this sort of practical, quick and easy solution to eyebrows really is minimal bother, maximum results.
Thanks guys for the awesome brows & I most certainly will be using your salon more often in the future. Service was fab too.

I popped in this morning to Play Brow Fitzroy without an appointment with a girlfriend. The lady at the counter quickly fitted us in and we were then treated to great service. Lying in really comfortable chairs the therapist took the time to talk to me about my brows and the style I was after after she found that I had a negative last experience. She also listened to the fact I like my brows to look natural rather than manicured. Her approach was assertive and knowledgeable yet caring. She was determined to make sure I walked out happy. After she was done she provided some aloe vera which really helped to cool down the area. They also offered makeup to touch up the area. After we paid they provided us with a gift envelope that included a little Lindt chocolate and some information about care after eyebrow threading. They also explained to us the deals they have with referring friends. Great discounts. Effective marketing! Overall a wonderful experience.

Lovely friendly staff. Both ladies who do the eyebrow threading are good and put you at ease. They talk you through before threading and apply aloe vera to your brows when finished. It's quick and relatively painless. If you recommend your friend you get 50% off and if you recommend two friends you get free , threading. They also have a customer rewards card that gets stamped at every visit.
The cost is $24 which some may find a little steep for eyebrow threading but they do a good job.
