He doesn’t just offer a timber floor service, it’s more of a timber floor experience. So if you are not passionate about your floors be warned because he is very passionate about floors. From the initial meeting where he came to view the floors and give me a quote, he explained to be me what type of timber I had, when it was installed and what he could do for them to make them look fabulous again. I was interstate while my floors were being done and it felt like I was there the whole time, because he sent me multiple emails and photos of the floors as he completed them. Michal and his team have just finished sanding and refinishing the front half of the house. In a couple of months he comes back to do the back. His advice on the appropriate preparation and finishes for our floor was invaluable and the results are outstanding - see photos.

We had just re-stumped and the floorbaords were uneven requiring considerably greater amount of sanding than Michal anticipated, but there were no complaints and no variation to our fixed price quote. Michal has always been reliable and professional in his approach.

Michal is an absolute magician with timber floors. Our floor had a number of problems others could not solve. One of the issues was the removal of old tile glue from the front entrance and matching timber stain to existing flooring. Again, others advised it was impossible, Michael dealt with it and did a truly amazing job; worth every cent!

Michal gave a very thorough and detailed quote and clearly explained the process, also sending heaps of emails throughout the job. The results speak for themselves he has transformed a very tired and neglected deck into a beautiful space.

Michal was very prompt and responsive from the start until the end of the project. We had carpets removed from 2 bedrooms and he restored the floorboards underneath. I would recommend PolacoFloors to anyone who is planning to varnish, coat, protect or anything that they want to do with their timber floors. We found Michal through hipages which he was very eager to "bring our timber back to life". The textured timber floor in our new apartment was lightly coated with a layer of oil with matte finish, which we did not like that much. So we wanted to make it smoother and shinier. Michal is very passionate and knowledgeable about timber floors. He explained in great details on the benefits of coating timber floors and gave detailed step-by-step procedure of how he was going to finish the job. He even went beyond his service by giving us thorough advice on maintaining the floors, and protecting the floors from other tradesmen. Of course, not to forget that he sent us photos update of the job progress every half an hour, which is something you do not get elsewhere. In the end, we are very satisfied with the finished floor. Michal is really the best tradesman that I have dealt with and I can guarantee that you will be very satisfied with his job and service.
