My miniature schnauzer Hugo visited precious pets today for the first time. He had been to a previous groomer who unfortunately gave him a bad experience, because of this he was extremely wary and scared of groomers. Karen and the staff at precious pets treated Hugo with utmost kindness and they were able to successfully groom him and make him feel more at ease. I can absolutely recommend precious pets as a top place. Hugo will certainly be returning.

I have recommended Precious Pets to about 20 people. She is so professional and is great with all animals. Karen is a genuine caring person who loves animals especially dogs. I have known owners who were unable to wash their dog because of being afraid that it would bite them and Karen knew exactly how to deal with this. Keep it up Karen. It is a shame that Naomi had to leave as she was a natural as well.

I have been taking my two dogs to Karen at Precious Pets since her business opened 10 years ago. I have watched her start out on her own with a small business and build it up through hard work and devotion to the successful and popular business that it is today. Not only is Karen a genuine dog lover and owner but she takes a personal interest in all the dogs and owners that she deals with. She does exactly what I instruct her to do and then some, Kiki is good enough to eat when I pick her up, smells and looks divine. I often drop in for a chat with her while she works and I'm astounded at her proficiency, she has a real gift in handling the dogs (and sometimes cats) I would not let anyone else groom my dog, all I need to do is call up on the day and it is never a problem fitting me in, even when she is flat out! I would be lost without her, she is delightful to deal with, honest, straight up and funny. I would recommend Precious Pets to anyone on the Coast whose dog needs regular grooming, the money you save by not paying overinflated prices for less than average work certainly pays for the petrol!

I have no hesitation in recommending Karen for pet grooming. As a new dog-owner, Karen has successfully managed to groom our large dog with ease. Karen displays professionalism and always satisfies us with the result. We will definitely be regulars!

Lily, Stinky, Baxter and Chumley have been visiting Karen since she opened at Avoca and always come home looking beautiful and happy. Lily is a Bichon Frise and Karen does a lovely job with her cotton wool coat. Baxter is a very naughty and uncooperative boy but Karen always manages to tame him for his bath and trim and believe me that's not easy! We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Precious Pets to anyone.

Ive never trusted anyone grooming my dogs and cat other than Karen, the past four years I have been taking my dogs and cat there I have been extremely happy every visit. -Happy, delightful service. -Clean and well presented shop. -Great animal handling skills by all staff. My dogs cannot wait to visit Precious Pets! They love their monthly clips. 100% recommend Precious Pets for any future clients. I can guarantee you will be happy!

Precious Pets is a lovely family business that sends home many happy puppies (and owners!) Whenever i send my dog there she always comes home lovely and clean (with an adorable little bow in her hair!) plus the staff are very friendly and are extremely flexible when it comes to booking a day and a pick-up time. Some of my friends used pay over a hundred dollars to get their dogs groomed, but after a couple of very pleasing visits to Precious pets, they are now happy customers there paying reasonable prices for a great groom. I totally recommend it and am not very pleased to see the negative comment regarding this business, Karen would never force an apoligy and never throw the dogs into cages. The people who left that comment mustn't know a great local dog groomer when they see one.

Being a dog lover with two dogs but clueless when having to bath and groom my own dogs, I find Precious Pets a life saver. I have been going there for 10 years and have found the owner to be helpful and resourceful with the complete body care of my dogs. I would recommend the service to anyone who loves their dogs as much as me.
