I worked with Jeff Gordon in implementation a new accounting system. Jeff is a well organised, details focused accounting professional.

He is a big picture guy who can deliver exceptional service in all aspects of management reporting and payroll.

We were referred to Prestige SME Business Solution by our Tax Accountants Elias Rosenberg for our bookkeeping services. Their service has been professional, personable and reliable responding to emails, phone calls and text messages quite promptly at all hours of the day.

Nothing is too difficult for them. I have great confidence in their work and appreciate their attention to detail. They are more than a bookkeeping service and went out of their way to understand our business and continue to check, analyse and offer improvement suggestions.

They have ensured we have met our statutory obligations and avoided any ATO fines. We asked for a software review and were presented with a comprehensive Conversion to Xero with Add-On Workflow Max. In the early days, we had a few problems with some of our Balance Sheet accounts and these were checked out, adjustments made, reconciled and our accounts are now accurate and up to date.

We have a good working relationship with Prestige SME Business Solutions and Elias Rosenberg and we are “all on the same page”. Jeff was engaged as Financial Controller, having strong business intelligence, integrity and reliability.

Jeff made many changes and innovations to the Finance Department including ensuring costs were recouped for technical support, hosting and extensions and close attention was paid to Project Management.

Jeff Gordon (Prestige SME Business Solutions) was engaged by EverSolar as Financial Controller Consultant at a time of real need requiring a strong level of finance professionalism.
After completing his Free Financial Diagnostic Review and Action Plan, he discovered finance items that required attention and actions including -:


Reviewed the Business Model including KPI’s and provided a number of options for management to consider

Implemented a 12 month projected Cash Flow and Budget

Picked up a GST supplier error that amounted to a sizeable $65,000 BAS credit due to an incorrect accounting procedure

Introduced a Weekly Performance Management Report and Meeting. Agenda items included Cash Flow, KPI’s, Debtors etc.

Upgraded the Insurance Policy to ensure all important items were covered, Registered for Payroll Tax and Increasing WorkCover annual estimations

Introduced our business to some important business alliances
