We have had several birthday dinners here, due to the fact that its one of the only large chinese restaurants in the area. Each experience has been very disappointing. It always takes ages for each course to arrive, and the quality is very poor. Our ginger shallot lobster and ginger shallot crab dishes (both not cheap) lacked taste and were overcooked. Our chinese broccoli was oily, the dessert soup was lukewarm, and the service was average. Yum cha is average but certainly nothing to write home about.
Most of the stuff here is delicious but i have to say that the salt and pepper squid wasn't as good as others. Also the fried rice was tasteless and plain. Definitely not worth it but everything else was good!
We went to this restaurant one of our friend's son's first birthday party few weeks ago. The food was alright but we have to wait for a long for their service , may be they have shortage of staff. But overall it was good.
This is a relatively small yum cha (and chinese dinner) restaurant. The ambience isn't the best but it's not so shabby so you can still entertain guests here at a reasonable price. I like it how they give you free tea instead of charging you for it on a per person basis (which is what some other yum chas do).
One of the only yum cha restaurants left in Parramatta. Good enough to satisfy your cravings. Their range includes all the basics, but not much more than that. Tasty and reasonably priced.
