I was a patient here, both inpatient and outpatient, for an extended period of time (almost 2 years), and I cannot praise the place enough.

The nursing staff are excellent, as are the cleaning staff and other domestic staff. The doctors in ED were excellent with me. As soon as I came in I was seen, and if the younger, less experienced doctors didn't understand my medical condition, they immediately got a doctor who did.

I broke a hip a couple of years ago and spent a week in the P.A. I can see why people complain about getting sick in hospitals. The room was mopped once, my table (the one you eat your meals pff) was clened once and that was by a lovely nurse who said that it annoyed him how filthy they were. Toilets weren't cleaned at all. And what's the thing with Physio's? I had my operation at 1am, after waiting in the ambulance for five hours, only to have her drag me out of bed to try to walk! I threw up!

I've been to the PA hospital a couple of times and have had consistently high level of care. Staff are always efficient, diligent and professional. The hospital has lots of extra resources to accommodate patients. Clean and hygienic atmosphere.
