I heard about this new nail salon at Eastland so I decided to try it out today as their prices were fairly cheap. Basically, I was in there for a total of TWO HOURS getting SNS. The man who did my nails would pause constantly to talk to me and the other ladies sitting beside me. He bragged at how amazing he was at nails before starting, but took two hours to simply take my previous SNS off and reapply it. He was distracted by other customers and workers the entire time, constantly getting up and walking around, which I fond to be totally unprofessional, swore multiple times in front of me and barely paid attention to what he was doing. He seemed highly unconfident and hesitant in the application of SNS, which didn’t make sense to me as he had sat there for five minutes before starting and talked about how amazing he was at doing nails. Every one of my nails were different shapes, bumpy all over, all in all just terribly wonky; I thought he wasn’t even close to finished and that he was going to fix this up but instead he said to me “you’re good to go now”. I showed him how terrible my nails were and asked for them to actually be filed again and shaped. He then said “it would have been easier if you told me what you wanted to begin with” ....?!?! I told him exactly what shape I wanted at the very beginning... and I think it’s a given that I wouldn't want lopsided unfiled SNS?? After fixing the shape (they still look bad but I couldn’t be bothered staying back longer than the two hours I had already been there) , I noticed there were holes in the SNS in two of my nails, it took him at least 5 tries to fix the holes, over buffing my nails to the point they now feel hot and bruised... he also cut the side of one of my fingers with a file which is constantly stinging. Even though he spent two hours doing my nails they still look horrible. I understand this salon is new and they are still getting the hang of things, but I have never seen such incompetence. I also watched the other two men doing the ladies’ nails in my row who made the same mistakes on their clients - you would expect them to be good at what they do and provide excellent service. I have NEVER hated my experience at a nail salon and never gone to any effort to write a review for anywhere, but this had to be done. Im dealing with so much pain in my nails and fingers tonight. I now have to get them fixed at my usual place for another $50. I will honestly never return!!!! Total waste of my time and money for sore and misshapen nails :(

Approximate cost: $50
