Iga at gateways, success is a good food outlet. It constantly competes with Woolworths and keeps up with them well. Customer service sometimes isnt the best.
Its relatively quiet in the store, compared to woolworths that's just at the other corner of the same shopping mall. Items that are on sale are not restocked on the shelf fast enough even though I don't see that many shoppers around. The cashiers not as efficient as those at woolworths.
Service is always good, great for specials on non perishable items, the freshness of the fruit and vegetable is not always the best, if you are on a tight budget its the place to start when doing your shopping as you can normally get some of the items you need on special.
One of the few supermarkets that always seem to have enough checkouts open..you never have to wait in the checkout queue for long...they give pensioner discounts on tuestdays and still have great specials as well
I've found there's a real issue with freshness here. It's convenient if you haven't got the time or inclination to walk a little further to one of the other supermarkets with better turnover, but the prices aren't terribly competitive unless you're shopping for loss leaders.
Found food out of date, not impressive, they need to turn or rotate their stock a lot more better. Try finding someone to help was near impossible. Had to wait for up to 10 min at ciggy counter, only to find there eftpos machines were down.
