I had such a beautiful experience at this Salon. Sarah styled and coloured my hair- I was really looking for someone trustworthy to reset my hair to good health and texture. She is a real healer and alchemist- she worked intuitively with me to bring out a better result than either of us even expected. The colour was very fresh and lightened- not brassy or yellow, and the treatment has restructured my hair, it’s been a week since the session and my hair feels to be getting brighter and thicker. The people there are highly empathic and looking to work for long term results. Thank you so much Sarah and Pulse for this experience!!

Bad, they say they will qoute you when you come in and then they dont, they charged me for long hair even though my hair is sholder length. They didnt even give me a reciept till I asked, I payed over $400 and they dont offer a recipt?? Their prices on there online website changes when you get charged in store.

Had my first permanent hair straightening done with Craig and his team. The result is amazing, I can’t stop touching my hair. Loved the professionalism and kindness of the whole team. It’s important to trust you hairdresser with your hair, especially when it’s such a big change like perm. hair straightening. I felt like I was in good hands throughout. Highly recommend!

I have been a customer at Pulse Hair salon for about 18 months and have never been disappointed with either my colour or cut. Craig and his team really understand hair. Today I had my hair straightened and cut by Craig - it feels soft and smooth and sits beautifully.

I had been to the hairdresser 2 times in 12 years ( bit of a phobia)
I had very long ( to my butt) curly hair . At nearly 50 I wanted a change , read great reviews on Craig so sucked it up and booked in .
Craig was amazing , very calm and relaxed .
My only regret is not doing it sooner .

I found Pulse by accident when I was doing a series of infomercials for a TV ad campaign,;the producer booked me in there to have my hair and makeup done to go on camera. I have curly hair so I was delighted when I met the owner, Craig Roberts, and saw he also had curly hair, which meant that he would know how to deal with mine.
This proved to be true! I've never had such an excellent color, cut and style as I had from Craig. That was back in 2009. Since then I have been getting my hair done at Pulse, even though I now live in Adelaide! I coordinate my work and holidays around my next hair appointment.
I really trust Craig and Teagen at Pulse to do the right thing with my hair and, as other curly headed people know, a good hairdresser who understands how to cut curly hair so you don't end up looking like granny is a very rare find.

I have just arrived on holidays from Sydney where I was too busy to get my hair done before we left. Looked up a few reviews and chose Pulse. I am thrilled with the result! Stacey was amazing and gave me a fabulous new style and colour :) I might move to Cairns so she can be my regular hairdresser :)

I went to Pulse Hair after reading good reviews. Im so glad I did. I am so impressed with how my hair turned out. Craig and all of the team at Pulse are awesome. They actually listen to what you want and also offer great advice on what works best (and they are right!). I chopped all of my hair off and was nervous, but Craig cut every stand with love and it turned out 100 times better than I ever thought! You would be silly not to go to Pulse Hair.

Found Pulse on the Internet, was completely wanting a change in style and colour. Sarah's knowledge of styles and colour is excellent and on trend. The rest of the staff are friendly and helpful. Back again and even better than the first time, thanks to Sarah and the team at Pulse. Xx

Had chemical hair straightening completed and I'm incredibly happy with the result! The staff are excellent, knowledgeable, caring and incredibly friendly. Staff make you feel comfortable. I went to Pulse Hair based on good reviews. I must say I was not disappointed. Amazing atmosphere very friendly and talented staff. They defo knew what they were doing as my hair looks amazing and sooo healthy despite it being covered in paint and full of knots beforehand. I was able to try delicious coffee from Asia and ended up with a beautiful hair cut and style. Thank you Sarah and the team for making my day as I feel fab!!:)

My hairdresser was running 40 minutes late, I was told she was running behind but not that I would be waiting for that long! I had a trim and a colour put through, nothing extremely exciting. Do not make the mistake I did, get a quote before your appointment as it was VERY expensive!! You can get a great haircut in Cairns at a much more affordable price!

Staff very welcome and friendly. My stylist listens to what I want and provides professional advice. I am constantly trying to grow my hair and feel comfortable letting them do trims with this in mind.

Why do we feel like we can't tell hairdressers that we don't like our hair cuts? At Craig Roberts salon, its because of the condescending way a particular hair dresser treats his customers. I had a disappointing experience when I visited this salon. I arrived at the salon with pictures of what I wanted. When the hairdresser cut my hair I asked (politely of course) for a little more off the length. The hairdresser did so then handed me over to an assistant (without telling me the hair cut was finished or asking me if I was happy with the haircut). My hair still did not look as I wanted - there were no layers and I did not like the fringe so I asked the assistant if my hair could be layered and the fringe made a little shorter. The original hairdresser then very begrudgingly made a few sips (5 minutes attention at the most) and sarcastically told me he was so glad I bought the photos in. It was very clear that my requests were unappreciated and I ended up without the layers. To my surprise, when I went to pay was asked to pay $22 more than I was quoted. When I inquired about the increased cost I was told that I was being charged for a 'restyle' because I had asked for some adjustments (which, as I said, were not properly followed through on.) I told the hairdresser that I was quoted $77 dollars and did not think it was fair to up the price without advising me. "Just give me the money" was the hairdresser's response. I responded by saying that I would prefer to pay the price I was quoted to which I was told I had been at the salon for an hour and a half (of whichI spent 30 minutes waiting, 30 minutes shampooing/ blowdrying and only about 30 minutes with the hairdresser) and asked; "Are you telling me my work not worth $99?". I'll leave that for you to decide.

For the record, I stuck to my guns (politely) and paid the originally quoted $77. After payment the hairdresser ceremoniously deleted me from client data base.

such alovely experience to sit back, relax and be pampered by a head massage, nice haircut and you walk out feeling a million dollars! Great modern friendly salon with professional staff.
