I ordered the materials on Friday paid in full, told it will be delivered to site Saturday mid morning.. never arrive. I'm a fencer, waiting for materials to arrive, so who gonna pay for my days wage?? [redacted offensive language]

I would not recommend PY Fencing. I had to prompt them several times for a quote. When I finally received the quote it seemed quite expensive but as it was a small job I was struggling to find anyone to complete the work. I booked a date for them to do the work. They did not show up. I texted, I called - nothing. At the end of the day I received a text with some poor excuse about a mechanical breakdown. They offered to do the work the next day and initially I agreed, although I was very annoyed. However, they then started asking for more money for this, that and the other. When I objected they said that these potential additional costs were in the terms and conditions of the quote - and actually, they were! When I read the terms and conditions of the quote, it became apparent that they retained the right to charge me extra for pretty much everything! The price that I had agreed was a mere fraction of what they would eventually charge. I told them that there services were no longer required and I contacted a few more companies and eventually found someone to do the job. In the end I was very happy that PY Fencing did not show up because it would have cost me a fortune in hidden costs. I showed the PY quote to the company that ended up doing the work and they said it was ridiculous. The company that ended up doing the work did not have hidden charges for things like "generator hire" - unsurprisingly, they had their own generator. Just as you would expect from a professional fencing company.

Approximate cost: $1200

They were cheap and reliable, but you get what you pay for. Left rubbish behind and not the straightest shots with the nail gun hitting about 75% on target.

I would definitely NOT recommend using PY fencing! The service was appalling and after finally locking in a date to get our fence done, they did not show up. I texted them a number of times to which I got no response at all. Two weeks later I called the head office and expressed my concerns and it was only then that a second date was booked. Two person turned up reasonably on time and then 4 hours later said they had completed the job however we asked for a capped fence as per quote and the fence was not capped. After a heated discussion between them, and a lot of swearing and aggression they said they would come back later to complete the job. As the fence was not built correctly they then had to cut away at the height of the fence to allow them to cap it. This means the fence is now shorter than quoted and shorter than the height we wanted!! The fence was also on a lean and had to be corrected by a builder friend who was at my house at the time thankfully. I spoke to them about their service to which I got an aggressive "whadya want us to do about it???". Enough said

I too would NOT recommend PY fencing to anyone. After ringing them at least 5-6 times trying to get a quote with promises to ring or get back to me, I heard nothing. Writing to them with my concerns and disgust at the lack of response I received an email saying this was most UNUSUAL for them and was given a mobile DIRECT number to contact. I rang 4-5 times the next day only to be greeted with a recorded message. I left my name and number but no reply. Having read the review below I am now extremely thankful that they never turned up. Hopefully people looking to build a fence will not waste their time in contacting PY fencing.
