This place is okay. Located on a strip up the far end of West End, it is a nice area to go to check out various authentic Asian options.
Fantastic Vietnamese restraunt ever! Has the yummiest of foods! Staff are so friendly! We love brining the family here
Approximate cost: $50
I have a favourite Vietnamese place on the very popular Hardgrave St strip in West End, however upon recommendation by my local friend, we decided to venture out and try some place new!
We just got some takeway from Quan Thanh on a Saturday night, and had friendly and prompt service from the staff. We ordered the pho and some spring rolls - both of which were lovely. The pork spring rolls were tasty and chock full of delicious meat and vegies. I was a little disappointed that our takeaway pho didn't come with the usual extras, such as basil, bean sprouts, hoisin and chilli, but it was still really good. The broth was flavoursome and there was plenty of meaty goodness.
Also, as we were leaving the restaurant nearly everything we saw on the tables being eaten by other patrons looked delish, so would be certainly keen to come back another time and try some different dishes!
Approximate cost: $12
Overall, I visit this place often. I usually stick with the usual orders - crispy chicken or vietnamese soup. One time I ordered their king prawn and rice meal. The prawns were not king prawns, they were small overcooked and overpriced for 15dlr. Yep. really bad....but I'll be back for the usual stuff.
Approximate cost: $15
Lovely little Vietnamese restaurant in West End that makes really good food for a small price. It is very busy even during the week so recommend making a booking. Food is served quick and hot and it doesn't break the bank.
Approximate cost: $12
Lets just say - I have been traveling from Newmarket to West End to buy Quan Thanh for 5 years - I LOVE THIS PLACE! I traveled Vietnam and this place is just as yummy!!! FAVE meals include Beef Vermacali Salad, Beef & Noodle Soup & Transparent Pork Rolls ... YUMMY! The prices have gone up over the years, but still quite a cheap meal! OH - you also can't go past the Tapioca & Coconut milk drink!!!
The best Vietnamese in Brisbane. Been going there for years. Their noodle soups and rice paper wraps are very fresh. Always busy.
One of Brisbane's best Vietnamese restaurants IMHO. We dine here very often and love the great range of authentic Vietnamese dishes. I can highly recommend the beef noodle soup, combination broken rice and Transparent Prawn & Pork Rolls. As with most Vietnamese restaurants, it best to focus on the Vietnamese dishes and not the Chinese dishes. Great range of drinks. Good service.
Several of my friends and I have dined here a few times. It is always busy so recommend you book. We always get a selection of dishes so everyone can share which is always fun. The food is of a high standard and the service is friendly.
Approximate cost: $12.00
Great food and great service. This place is nearly always full which is a good sign. It is often necessary to book. They have a wide range of food on their menu from snacks to main meals. Great to have a banquet here and share many dishes between friends.
