I recently booked a ticket on the tilt train and was amazed at the wonderful service given over the phone by Kim Jakobi. She was extremely helpful with a small hiccup that I had and followed it up immediately and confirmed with an email. All the staff are really pleasant with every booking I've done, they have to be commended for a wonderful service. Well trained.

I travel with QR from time to time, though usually only to and from events, my father and I travelled to this year's Gold Coast 600 via train and it was a great experience. We were very happy with the free travel with translink with the GC 600 tickets.

Approximate cost: $Free!

average business. the city train side of the business is run and owned by trans-link so everything that they have to do with them just is a total inconvenience. the bus drivers are always rude and they don't seem to know what day it is.

Approximate cost: $3

Actually TransLink only do the timetables. The actual trains are run and ownder by Queensland Rail and the buses are run and owned by various operators such as Brisbane Transport (council) Veloia, Clarks etc......but yes agree that bus drivers are rude

The tilt train was a good experience. a great on time service. food could be a bit better for how much you pay, which is a bit too much. seat are comfortable and you even get a video to watch, and a listen to a few radio stations.

The tilt train is a great ride, I rode from Bundaberg to Brisbane it was a very comfertable trip. The dining car was well stocked. The seats were clan and train was very tidy. The choice of channels on the headset is pretty good also. There was also a breakfast service offered where the attendants brought you youjr meal. IT was a great way to see the sun rise.

Approximate cost: $100
