I have used this a couple of times and have had good and bad experiences. I have had a beautiful dress sent to me on time and I have had other sellers not get back to me after I paid for a month! Its a bit risky as Paypal is not required so if ou send a money order you may not get your item. Its good to check the sellers feedback but as anyting online without buyers protection, be cautious...I see a lot of potential though. Might visit it again soon.

It's a bit hard to rate a website when in fact your experiences are mainly with the sellers and buyers .
The website itself is still having unexpected technical issues which are never brought to notice or if they are it's after the issues seem to be resolved leaving a lot of members wasting their time trying to work on their listings and buyers are frustrated why they are having such difficulties purchasing something when they get constant error pages.
So I wouldn't rate the website itself very high . A more professional approach to their website building needs to happen asap .
Advertising is being stepped up but frankly I reckon it's way too late , they have let the site slide over the years and that's not something you can pull back up from easily.
Sellers and Buyers wise , I rate them both similar to eBay . You get the good with the bad .
Fees are excellent , but without buyers it means very little .
Staff are helpful and unlike eBay quite approachable and will assist members .

I've been selling on Quicksales for a number of years. The site is easy to use, and allows the seller to leave their items listed without any extra charges, and the final value fee is very acceptable. Sales are probably a little slower, but it's good to list without incurring all those extra costs.
From a buying point of view there are quite a few bargains to be had.
Quicksales is definitely worth checking out.

Have used this site many times not as much as eBay but still a good alternative if you are looking for a bargain,Their fees are cheaper than eBay too,

I joined QS in 2006 when it was called OZtion and have been pleasantly surprised by the amazing customer service and growth of this site. I list up on here every day for free and the only fee you pay is when your item sells. I have sold 2484 items or lots on the site. People may complain that the site is slow but it costs nothing and I find that the more you list, the more you sell i.e. having almost 600 listings at any given time helps me sell a lot as I offer combined postage. Amazing bargains are to be had when buying as there is rarely a bidding war.

I have used this website a number of times, it is great to know that there are other websites out there other than just ebay so one can really compare prices and widen one's search to get the best value for money.

I have both bought and sold on oztion many times and have always had a good experience.I find their fees to be a lot more reasonable than some other sites

recently I got an email from OZtion saying they are changing their name to quicksales.com.au
Albeit I haven't used OZtion as much as I have eBay it is a great alternative. Bring on competition I say!

A great alternative to eBay, more of a community. This site is more like an online 2nd hand store. Still plenty of brand new items to be found but sellers put their own price on things. You can make an offer, if it's reasonable it is likely to get accepted. You won't find as many bargains on here like you can find on eBay but it is Aussies who are selling!
