Good to find some items but its limitation is its only for australians, also some items listed legally cannot be sold but it seems like this is not policed

i was buying a dvd head unit for my car from a seller on oztion when (after i had paid for it) i get this email from the seller saying that "sorry but the unit you have paid for is not availiable for another 4 mths would you like the cheaper version for a discount?"
now this sounds ok until i did a bit of research on this seller

i found out that they had been listing this headunit for a long time with the same email going out to winning bidders,,,,
to me you do this once and its just a mistake do it 2 times and your boardering on fraud (by advertising a product you KNOW you cant get and have no intention of supplying) do it 3 times and its a dileberate fraud.

i alerted OZTION of this sellers business practice
the email sent back was very strange ( yes oztion if you are reading this i still have your email that you sent me )
it says because i have attempted to contact other members of oztion my account was being deleted
APPARENTLYi broke some very important rule about letting others know of a fraudulent seller

another thing i have found out about most sellers on oztion is that they have been banned from ebay for unfair business practice
Oztion is supposed to be Australians selling to australians but sadly it is NOT
(i still have ALL corespondence with oztion and am currently seeking legal advice)

I have put 3 listings on this site and it has not cost me a cent as yet. The items are still going and if they don't sell, I don't get charged a fee unlike other sites. I think this is the way to go, and I'm surprised that more Australians don't use this site. Oztion.com.au is also easy to navigate around.

I sell my unwanted home items such as clothes/car bits on the auction site. A little slow to begin with but it soon will pick up. Friendly people and amazing forums that you can meet so many nice people to help with lots of things. overall an amazing auction site. Cannot rave enough. Go and join.. PLEASE..

Buy and Sell on Oztion, Australian owned, growing membership, with no listing fees, works out much better all round compared to EBay. Have been using this service for several years and its slowly getting bigger and more well known

Have been selling & buying on Oztion.com.au ever since it first started out & the selling/listing fees are so cheap that i wouldnt use any other on-line auction site!

Another version of ebay. Not as nicely set out as ebay and not alot of members but a good place to find cheap items and to sell for no fees. Have found some good cheap and new items there and would recommend.

YEAH! AUSTRALIA'S ANSWER TO EBAY. ITS BETTER BECAUSE MOST OF THE SELLERS ARE AUSTRALIAN AND WE DON'T GET RIPPED BY OVERSEAS VENDORS WHICH HAS HAPPENED TO ME WITH EBAY IN THE PAST.
