Great day trip out to the reef. Plenty of staff to help . The trip through the reef in the glass bottom boat is a great adventure for the kids.

I cannot speak highly enough of this tour operator!! I have been on their GBR reef tour a few years ago whilst in the area and most recently we went for a family holiday to Port Douglas and enjoyed a day out on the reef.

We were impressed with a high number of staff on board from when you step on .. they are there to assist you, one friendly staff even showed us a comfortable seat so we can park our stroller for toddler!!

we enjoyed interesting commentary on board beginning with safety instructions to a talk about the GBR etc.

its about 1.5 hour boat trip to pontoon in the reef, and once there you can hire a wet suit to wear whilst snorkelling, flippers and mask included'

at an optional extra cost you can take scenic helicopter ride, scuba dive and more. staff were very friendly in answering questions etc and telling you about your options etc

coffee/tea was served before we departed, as well a lovely buffet fresh lunch and then afternoon tea

you can also order other cold drinks and snacks at the bar on board the boat too ... staff were particularly kind in storing my toddler's milk bottle in the fridge, which was a kind gesture.

we all had a wonderful time and wish we could have gone back again for another trip to the reef.

our tour cost about $230 per adult, kids under 4 are free

worth every cent for a full day activity and a memorable experience to see this amazing natural wonder.

We had a great day trip to Low Isles with Quicksilver. Lots of information about the reef, snorkeling, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea and lovely staff. We also had to wear the stinger suits as it was stinger season and all looked like martians but it was funny. The glass bottomed boat was another fun thing to do. Sadly my daughter got a bit seasick on the way back but staff were absolutely fantastic and very very helpful, Huge thanks from us and this company is highly recommended in every way!

Snorkling, scuba diving, helicopter trips, and if you can't swim there is a glass bottom boat and an underwater viewing area.
Lunch is included and there is a large pontoon where you can laze if you wish.
If you are snorkling at certain times throughout the year you have to wear blue catsuit like outfits over your swimmers that have feet and hoods in them, makes you look like a tellie tubbie but when you look around and see everyone wearing them you just have a giggle.
