Randall's was recommended to me by a good friend and I wasn't disappointed!
We booked for a Friday lunch. We had a selection from the Tappers menu and then dessert. WOW!
I have recommended Randall's to my Central Coast friends for a fabulous night out and those who live in Sydney, when they'd like make their dining experience something very special.
Ambience, location, presentation, service etc tick all the right boxes. Thank you again for a fabulous dining experience. I'm looking forward to my next amazing visit to Randall's with more friends. We will be back again soon.

My wife and I and four friends decided to have dinner locally and that it was time we tried Randalls at Killcare.We sat down for dinner at 7pm on Saturday. Within a few minutes a friendly waitress had arrive to take our drinks order. We chose the Kangaroo Island Shiraz as a place to start. Darn good drop really!
We decided to try all 6 different main courses and share them between us all instead of having entree's so as to sample as much as possible on the first visit.We shared Chicken breast, Pan fried Smooth Dory with lemon butter parsley sauce, Choice eye fillet steak with garlic king prawns, Twice roasted duck with Illawarra plum & honey peppercorn glaze. Taste of the sea – sizzling BBQ seafood, green lipped mussel, boneless fish, scallop, baby octopus & king prawns in a balsamic & aioli mayonnaise with a sprinkle of bush limes. As a rule, I dont like duck - but this duck was supurb and enjoyed by all, leaving everybody drooling, searching for whatever tiny morsels remained on the plate. In all, it is clear that Chef John Randall knows his craft. Everything came out hot, and much better then expected.. The staff were excellent, Wines hit the spot and overall value excellent. We'll definately be back soon.

A few weeks back we headed up from Sydney to join friends who promised the best breakfast ever. We were taken to Randalls on the Beach, and it was everything promised. More "brunch" time (just after 11:00) than breakfast, we feasted first on the fantastic outlook over the beach on that quiet sunny morning.
We chose the Randalls Big Breakfast – pan fried assorted mushrooms, 2 poached eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, a huge sausage and grilled tomato; and because Mum always told me breakfast was the main meal of the day, we ordered eggs benedict which was served on toast with smoked salmon and homemade hollandaise sauce. Sensational!
At the time we said to our friends we are definitely coming back... and we did for NYE.

New Years Eve: The 3 course set menu ($55) was excellent - I had a sublime Thai beef salad entree, sumptuously moist chicken breast main with a stunning mango and peppercorn sauce and desert was a delicious cheesecake with a cosistency of a delightful mousse served in a glass and partnered with a chocolate profiterole sharing the plate. My wife had the seafood entree and minute steak main course. I was allowed a taste of the tender steak with perfectly balanced flavours of the mushrooms and bacon with red wine reduction. I agreed with my wife - amazing.
This was topped with the infectious energy of the band, The Usual Suspects / Blues Angels. All cheerful wisecracking costume-changing characters interacting with the diners, while delivering a wide repertoire of roots, blues and folk music from 7:00 p.m. to after midnight!

Great food great location and great service. What more could you want. This restaurant is only new but the owners have done a good job. The food is seafood and fresh and the view over the beach is wonderful even on a wet day. A noce touch is that they have binoculars to look out over the beach. You cannot go past the seafood platter for two!
