Rangeview Post Office

I was chasing an item I ordered on ebay and the sender advised that it has been delivered to the Rangeview Post Office 566 Mitcham Road Mitcham. They advised me to take my ID and pick it up. When I arrived at the post office on the 2nd of March at 3pm there was a man whose name sounds like Jaspec, who did the following:
1. Firstly he persisted that the parcel must have been left at my place.
2. When we finally convinced him that it wasn't he checked my driving license and decided that no parcels from this address would be delivered to this post office. Without any checks.
4. When I asked politely if he can check if there is a parcel for me he responded that he has 100s parcel and can't do it.
3. Than he asked for a tracking numer.
4. When I presented the tracking number to him, he glanced at it a told me that it was sent by Toll and Toll never delivers parcels to this post office. He did not bother to check further .
5. Then he sent us to the adjacent pharmacies and told us to ask there.
6. When we came back from the Pharmacies and asked him to check if there is no record of the presented tracking number, he finally checked on the computer, turned around and picked up the parcel which was laying just behind him on the shelf.
7. And finally he refused to give us either the manager's name or his name, at the same time accusing me of lying to him. At which stage I told him what I think of his customer service.

The new(ish) owners are very friendly and helpful.

I go here regularly, and the service is lovely! I always feel comfortable and welcome, and everyone has a fantastic sense of humour.

This is the local post office on mitcham rd. Family run, it is a really pleasant place to go and do business. Even the kids help out and they provide great service and don't seem to resent being there! I would much rather give my business to this post office than to the big Australia Post run stores.
