I will never recommend RaRamen restaurant in box hill ,to anyone of my friends,it's terrible food, very poor customer service,I ordered pickled cabbage and pork on rice that's what it says on the Menu, but what's on my plate was, heaps of cabbage and I don't think it's pickled and there was no pork, they put hard boiled egg instead,I tried a spoon but I can't take it,this restaurant absolutely needs a better chef,so I returned the food they didn't offer me a refund of my money which is fine but at least could offer me something else or sorry if you don't like our food, but I didn't hear anything like that.I walk off from that restaurant not happy, because I could see the staff they don't care if their customers are satisfied.

I've ordered the fish ball and dumpling noodle soup. Comes in huge portion. The white noodles were freshly made, no coloring which is good. However I didn't like the dumplings- the skin was too thick and meat was very little.

It was cheap and value for money if you are looking for big bowl of noodles to share with friends or family. But their dumplings are not definitely the best. They serve free Chinese tea and slurpees which attract most customers.

Approximate cost: $9.50

Wide varieties of noodles, the beef briskets ones are delicious. The dumplings are OK, slightly too greasy and the skin are not crispy enough. Love the free flow frozen cokes and Red ben soup. Yum

Looking for value for money, great tasting dishes and complimentary this and that? Well you can't go past Raramen. This place serves Northern Chinese/Taiwanese based foods - Dumplings run a plenty at this place and at around $10 for 15 you know you're gonna leave as full as! Top that off with complimentary tea, slurpees (with just enough sugar to have your kids bouncing off the walls - albeit a little watery) and dessert (red bean soup) make this one place that is a bargain. The quality is okay, remembering what you are paying, so there are no complaints and the serving sizes of other dishes such as noodles is generous. Service is average however you have to remember that the deal is about the food, not the service or the ambience! This place rules by its value for money offering in a hotly contested foodie district - there are in excess of 60 restaurants, cafes and food shops around this area! Whilst some may complain about quality, the number of people sitting in this restaurant is a testament to its offering of value and quality.

Approximate cost: $12

Really delicious but cheap dumplings and noodle soups. Fried pork dumplings are the best Ive had anywhere in Box Hill. Food comes out quickly and you get complimentary slushees, tea and red bean soup (if available).

Approximate cost: $8
