Good, healthy food mixed with a bit of indulgence. Best salads, and best vegetarian pies in the CBD. Cakes of the quality mum used to make with a creative flair. Friendly, engaging staff.

I like the cafe name a lot! The food is simply clean and done with love, all of it on site, especially the baked goods and pastry.
The wait staff is friendly and attentive. My discriminating 13-year old loves having breakfast here! Comfort food well-executed!

These guys take no shortcuts. Customer service is friendly and impeccably courteous. The food and drink is just beautiful - quality ingredients, no skimping; really lovely.

Great coffee. Interesting and different pies, which sometimes miss the mark a tad but usually are fantastic - definitely worth taking the chance. Baked eggs....Mmmmm.... Cakes to die for - the MCG-sized wagon wheels are especially sumptuous. Service is unfailingly brilliant. Seriously, hats-off to all the staff.

The new cafe is fresh and friendly, but the biggest appeal is that the food has heart. The small-batch sourdough bread is full of flavour and for me, the cakes, slices and biscuits take me back to the Tea Rooms of my home town fourty years ago, when fairy cakes and sponge rolls were the stuff of daydreams...

Approximate cost: $12.50

The coffee is the best in Hobart, or Tassie for that matter, perfect temperature, great crema, doesn't taste bitter, just wonderful.... however the price is a little steep, I know they use the best beans going around, but I still baulk at 3.80 for a coffee!!! I know we are not Melb or Adel, but really I think 3.50 should be the limit.
