I go to this lovely little cafe at least twice a week. Great, hot, strong coffee. Amazing daily specials. Great cake baking for special events. Well priced, like cafes should be. Will always be a regular.
Approximate cost: $14
The best sandwich I have ever had. The food was Really really good, im not sure why I never went in sooner.
I absolutely love this place. I am a vegetarian and the choices here are creative and delicious, plus they change their menu regularly. The ingredients are fresh and very creatively combined.
The service is excellent, with a friendly welcome and prompt attention. The staff also take the time to remember your preferred drinks which makes you feel special.
I can't recommend it enough.
this place is pretty darn good. lovely staff, great food and great de-caf. I am a big fan of coffee but it is not a big fan to my body so to get a well made very tasty de-caf is fantastic.
This is my fave coffee place in Hobart - great barristers, great service, and the most amazing, fresh and unique food. Love love Rasberry Fool! And Mark - your coffees are the best!
Ethically-sourced local produce equals excellent quality & so FRESH! It also supports local growers/producers & other small businesses. The pastry (housemade of course) is superb, the food combinations seasonal & imaginative, & flavours authentic. Takeaways are awesome - including duck confit pies as well as an extensive range of vege options, such as superb lentil & roast veg pies, & a very yummy cakes cabinet (go the feijoa friands!). This is seriously good food & great value. Really lovely people too, always friendly & helpful, very approachable & a great set of values behind them.
Often go there for mid arvo coffe & snax wuth my 9 yo daughter. They always give friendly, personable but not in your face service. Coffee very good, strong but not too strng and nice n hot. Top spot to go for a light snack; kid friendly, simple but attractive decor.
I frequent regularly for mid-morning coffee, breakfast or lunch and have never had a disappointing meal. The salads are fresh and tasty and varied as are the biscuits, muffins, slices etc. The homemade Wagon wheels are a treat. The staff are friendly. And for a special occasion order one of Gail's cakes
Raspberry Fool has a fantastic variety of food at different price ranges and fabulous coffee! I work right up the road from here and sometimes get a savoury muffin for breakfast, come back mid morning for coffee, and at lunchtime go there to grab a salad. The staff are also friendly and professional; all food is cooked on site.
I received an offer for this place via one of those Daily Deal type websites which offerred a two for the price of one breakfast and coffee.
My wife and I went in one morning before work to give them a try. There were a few tasty sounding options on the menu, but the one that caught our attention the most (so much that we both ordered it) was the creamy baked eggs, with caramelised onion, ham, and gruyere cheese. I also opted to add a side of bacon for extra deliciousness.
In a word, SENSATIONAL. If you only try one cafe breakfast this year, make it this one. My only criticism, and it's very minor, was the chopped parsley garnish was a fraction heavy handed for my liking and being chopped, is difficult to remove.
The venue itself is quite small, so it would pay to book, and the table we were seated at was probably crammed a fraction close to others but the staff were friendly and the coffee was excellent.
We'll definately be returning.
