Absolutely fantastic! This cinema has Audio description in EVERY theatre (Audio Description is for people with vision loss, it describes the visual action on the screen through a special head set). The guy who is the former cinema projectionist should be commended. This guy took the initiative to fine tune the system so that every theatre could use the AD feature, he also learnt about the system and trialled it, I have never come across a cinema staff member anywhere since digitalisation came in that has put that much dedication into ensuring ALL customers get a quality cinema experience. Initially it was only set up with all but one theatre having access. The brilliance of having a cinema with all theatres accessible means people with a vision impairment can simply go to the movies like everyone else, no calling in advance to work out what movies and what sessions are accessible, no waiting 1-2 weeks for a new release to be put in a smaller theatre etc. That is true inclusion! The AD system used is also the good type that is reliable and high quality. The headsets seem to always be on charge and the staff seem to know the difference between AD for the blind and closed captioning for the deaf (sadly this is a rarity). The cinema itself is quite nice, clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Can't recommend it enough.

What a difference a refurbishment can make, the seats are now plush and comfy and the staff are either new or have had a change of heart because it was a good experience this time around. The price was comparable as you would expect. Still the only letdown with the refurbishments is the loo's they need a facelift.

The cinema is in very bad shape. The seats have a dirty feel to them, the padding on the seats is worn, and some of the headrest on the seats have been that abused they are curled over, so when you are sitting in them your neck is crunched over. The prices at their candy bar are a bot over the top. On the other hand the staff are friendly.

What a lovely old cinema! We went to see Madagascar 3 today with the kids and this cinema is the old one that has had a little face lift. The seats are so big and the timber arm rests with the cup holders in it but the best part is the leg room. There is so much space in front of you so it's great for those with long legs or to put the bulky handbag. There are only four theatre rooms so they don't have every movie running at every time slot but we have been twice and they program the movies at appropriate times. The ticket and snack bar run down one side of the hall with some seating around to sit in big comfy chairs if you are early. Don't forget to join up to their loyalty program as you get free tickets, $5 off vouchers and free things from the candy bar.

Approximate cost: $11
