There are two sort of shop fronts for this business - one is the cafe with lovely wooden chairs and tables and the other is the walk in ice cream bar.
Some really nice snacks, brunch and meal options at the cafe part, but we really go for the ice cream. The range of flavours is great, choice of cones etc.
Lemon gelati remains a firm favourite. In the heat nothing can beat it. A very welcome addition to this busy shopping area especially in the hight of the tourist season. Usually you can grab a park outside if you wait long enough. Tables on the street where you can enjoy your food.
Approximate cost: $4 - 5
This place looked popular due to the crowd as compared to other venues, and the prices looked quite reasonable too. I had the Big Brekky which was nice, but not as 'big' as many others I have had in my time. My partner had the Eggs Benedict which was lovely. The staff were OK, but could have been more attentive... for example, we asked how big one of the soft drink bottle were, they found out and told us, and walked away... there was no offer to order it!! So, they lose marks on service, and the food was slightly better than the mean. Nice overall, and I would go back!
