Good place for lunch, although the burgers fell apart pretty easily, so it was a messy eat. I have a veggie burger which tasted great. Chips were well cooked. My friend had the kangaroo burger which he felt was a bit overdone, and the cooked veg inside didn't quite match. Nice outdoor area for having a drink, relaxing. Staff were friendly. Well priced food, too. Still, better burger joints in the area.

If you are after a decent size and value meal then head here for a fresh burger. Service was o.k, Food was decent not bad not fantastic. Would go again if in the area for lunch.

There's nothing really special about this place. The menu has traditional cafe food with good foccacias and toasties. It's not somewhere I'd rush back to, but we had a decent lunch there.

Red box has a relaxed atmosphere and it has a great menu which is fairly priced. My friends and I meet there every fortnight for brunch, the breakfast menu is yummy!

Food is fresh and tasty. The chicken and avocado toasted sandwich always hits the spot. Service is good and the location is easy to get to. If you can't find parking on Sydney Road, try the Safeway carpark off Albert St, just make sure you grab a ticket from the machine (they will fine you if you don't!).

Had some interesting things on the menu. In a funky location, nice place to relax with a friend. My friend found a bug in her salad however, which was somewhat off putting. They gave us our drinks for free and I would go there again- the place was clean and respectable - I'd just check the lettuce more carefully!

My husband still raves about this as the best place he's had breakfast in Melbourne! And it certainly was a yummy breakfast... The eggs were cooked perfectly and the sourdough bread was fabulous, the juice & coffee were great. We must go back again sometime...

Really yummy breakfast and location can't be beat. They have great specials and are very good value. Definately one of the better cafes in the Sydney Rd Brunswick area. They also have a nice little courtyard out the back.
