After enjoying much wine tasting in Mclaren Vale, my husband and I decided a change was needed so we paid a visit to Red Poles where my husband enjoyed one of their beer paddles. Such a wonderful relaxing spot, great for a family gathering or christmas function, they also offer accommodation and there is an art gallery. We will be entertained all day, don't forget wine tasting as well. Red Poles was a great way for us to finish up our day of tastings.

We decided to take my in-laws out for some wine tasting while they where staying with us. After driving past Red Poles many times we thought we should drop in. Then entry from the road isn't great but as you drive down it certainly improves. We tried a few wines and then had a coffee in their cafe whilst looking at the menu. We did not stay for a meal - just the Gnocchi was $30 and from what we could see they were rather small servings. Staff were very friendly, relaxing atmoshere, various places to sit and enjoy yourself, we liked the beer garden and enjoyed our wine tasting and coffee. Probably wont return for a meal.

Visited Red Poles for the first time yesterday. Won't be the last. Quirky, relaxing, inviting, warm place. Service was great. There was a girl singing solo (Kylie I think??) who was just fantastic and the food was delicious - really good quality. Hubby said it was the best pate, and his pork belly was delicious, just not enough mash, and my gnocchi was also scrumptious but not enough of it. The portions are a little small for the price you pay and I'm not a fan of the directors chairs outside. Overall a really lovely experience, can't wait to try out their brekkies one weekend.

Always open. A great place to have a long drawn out breakfast or brunch.... yep, one of the best. This place has a jazz band on Sundays and displays local art works. A unique country experience.

Approximate cost: $20.00

We love this place, apart from the great food, service and being dog friendly it also has an art gallery attached and has provided me with heaps of inspiration in my own creative ventures
