I went on a friday night and it has a nice relaxed atmosphere. The noise levels are good and the staff are friendly without being too formal or overly attentive.
The drinks are really nice. I liked the range of options from house made sodas (the blood orange/cardamon soda is a delightful eye-opening concoction) to ciders to cocktails and wines - everyone is kept happy.
The food is also nice, along the lines of asian/thai fusion. Sizing & pricing of plates can be a bit strange though.
We were not all that hungry, so ordered a one dish from the vegetable section and one from the starter/entree section.
The vegetable dish was a banana blossom salad with chinese kale and nuts ($29) - it arrived on an entree sized plate.
Meanwhile the lamb ribs with tamarind sauce ($16) also arrived on a plate of the same size.
Funny portion sizing.....

Had the lunch banquet, while all the dishes were delicious the standout was the braised pork belly dish. Also accepts Entertainment book which is a bonus

For a sophisticated evening eating really good contemporary thai food in elegant surrounds, it is hard to go past Red Spice Road.
It is in the same market as Longrain, Gingerboy, Cookie etc
Very similar to Cookie, RSR offers more variety and options, but in a more classy sophisticated setting and dining service experience.
Good for special evenings or corporate events where sharing is the go.
