A totally genius way to gift an "experience" for that fussy person in your life that has, just about everything they need. From giving them an experience to something they have always wanted to do such as adventure sports, flying, drving experiences, dining to purchasing gift vouchers where recipient can choose their own unique experience.

Have used this site many times for presents for friends and we are currently in the midst of booking a lunch cruise on Sydney Harbour ( minus the kids).

I love that you can pick a personalized gift so it shows you thought about what the person might like. But that they can swap it for a different experience if they dont like what you chose. not many places where they can change a voucher if they dont like your present.. :D

I purchased a night photography course for my siblings and I to do on the Sydney Harbour foreshore. The website is easy to use and the photography teacher was awesome. The group was small, so not only was it a fun night, but we really learned something too. Loved it. Would def buy from them again.

I'm really not impressed. I booked for a family of 6 to go to a particular theme park through redballoon.com.au 3 days ago now. The confirmation email STILL hasn't been sent. I then filled in the 'request dates' to the provider section. I still hadn't received any correspondance from the theme park, so I rang them and found that they'd received nothing from redballoon.com.au. I also found that there was no mention of whether the voucher was for an adult or child. I have also found that I would have saved nearly $70 if I'd have just bought my tickets directly from the theme park rather than through redballoon.com.au. Sure I can get a refund, but this will become 'credit' rather than an actual cash refund. I understand that the site needs to make money, but surely $70 is far more than reasonable.
I've still got credit on this site, so need to use it, but I certainly won't be purchasing gifts or experiences in this way again.

Me and my partner were given one of the redballoon packages as a gift. It was a day trip via the seaplane. The overall experience was awesome. There could be better suggestions offer by the company for the day. However, it was a great experience.

Approximate cost: $Gift
