The Quail and Pale Ale was my favourite. I'm not usually a fan of darker beers but the Stout with the Wild Boar Should Ragout was a good mix. The Seared Duck Liver and the Kangaroo Carpaccio (raw) took me a bit out of my comfort zone so the matched beers helped with that. It was $25 for the tasting plate so I think it was definitely value for money.

Approximate cost: $25

I've been there for both a drink after work and a wedding. The stand out is the great selection of beers available for your beer connoisseur, and some decent wines for the non beer drinker like me. The food at the wedding was lovely. The only issue at the wedding was the bar half of the room was still open to the general public and it was hard to hear the speeches.

Redoak offers beers brewed in house. The chick interior is suitable for date and ladies who don't drink beer probably enjoy drinking their European style fruit beer, which is a nice alternative to champers.
