My workmates love the coffee from this place - they have varying levels of strength meaning you can get extra strong coffee. My favourite items are the cookies - they're very big for the size. But probably the best aspect is their hours. Whilst most cafes in the city close about 4pm, this shop is still open (I believe it was previously 24 hours, but now closes about 11pm).

I first of all selected this dentist based on check-ups being bulk billed for Medibank Private patients, and have been very happy with their service for the last 1 1/2 years, including multiple fillings. My dentist (Dr Csilla Kiss) is professional yet friendly, the dental care is great and thorough (with digital x-rays compared to the old style x-rays at my old dentist outside of Sydney), and I've paid nothing out of pocket except for my fillings.

I've been regularly dining at this restaurant for a few years and find what impresses me the most is how well everything combines together to create a memorable dining experience. Wonderful service, BYO wine with decent corkage, great prices (especially the early diners special), delicious desserts!

Approximate cost: $28

A handy dry cleaners when visiting Woolworths or catching the buses on the Pacific Highway. The prices are good and the service decent. They also did a good job taking up my partner's jeans.

This review is for Ivy Bar, Sydney NSW

The Ivy Bar is a wonderfully different addition to the Sydney bar scene. With a delightfully kitsch meets French decor and an open air central courtyard, this is like nothing else in Sydney. Busy when I've visited on a Friday night, it's a great retreat during weekday lunchtimes. The food menu is good, but is on the pricey side of bar food. A great wine list!

I love the salads that these guys do at lunch - I particularly recommend the rocket salad with the prosciutto and pear - a lovely balance of flavours. They also do great banana bread and sandwiches in Turkish bread.

This review is for Redoak Boutique Beer Cafe, Sydney NSW

I've been there for both a drink after work and a wedding. The stand out is the great selection of beers available for your beer connoisseur, and some decent wines for the non beer drinker like me. The food at the wedding was lovely. The only issue at the wedding was the bar half of the room was still open to the general public and it was hard to hear the speeches.

My own and my work colleague's favourite cafe near our work. Their prices are consistently cheaper than everywhere else, and the food is great, especially all our late breakfasts (banana bread, toasted turkish, egg and bacon rolls).

Great specials and excellent prices on some items make organics easier to include in my weekly shop. I especially love the free range ham, organic popcorn, self-measurable dry goods and the Phoenix drinks from NZ.

This review is for Crows Nest Plaza Fruit Market, Crows Nest NSW

A large range of fruit and vegetables plus all the other greengrocer extras, with great prices, including a selection of cheaper pre-packed bags of some vegetables. Our fruit and vegie shopping always seems cheaper and friendlier when we go here.
