i have always enjoyed eating at the reef and beef restaurant. i find the meals very enjoyable and the staff is very open to altering anything a little on the menu to help you achieve what you need or what you can have. the staff are very friendly. the reef and beef has recently been renamed i only hope the service stays as nice.

On one occasion the meal I ordered was not cooked through (raw) and then my husband on another occasion was served a pasta dish in a burnt sage butter sauce that consisted of hard lumps of pasta swimming in a lake of melted butter - not at all nice especially on other occasions he has had this dish he did nothing but rave about how good it was. The next disappointment was when I was served a pasta dish with a tomato sauce that had no flavour and appeared to have been thicked with corn flour and my husband was served pork medalions that consisted of a very tough pork chop! Overall the dining experience is very hit and miss and we are now reluctant to return or recommend to friends - I find this very sad as we both enjoyed dining there and find the staff to be lovely and the service excellent - in the end, however, we do go out to dinner to enjoy a really nice meal and when we are nervous about what we are going to be served it tends to ruin the night.

Whenever I travel to Mildura I enjoy dining at Reef & Beef - they always have great food and pleasant service. A highlight of the menu is the stonegrill dining where your food is cooked in front of you on a stone plate. It definitely makes for a unique dining experience.

Reef & Beef is a formal restaurant that is well set out with modern decor and crisp white tablecloths. There is ample parking out the front of the restaurant and it is in a good location. The meals are fairly priced considering the high quality of the food and the presentation.
