Darren and Mitch, thanks a bunch for the great work you guys have done for us. Respect Electric definitely lives up to the high expectations set by the previous positive reviews. We had Darren installed 4 15amp GPO for our cafe, he was willing to come on the weekend to do a quote, got the job done within 4 hours and cleaned up everything after. In short, good old-fashioned quality service with a smile and all at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Darren for sure and he will definitely be my go to electrician.

I can't recommend Darren highly enough. Its great to meet someone with such integrity and pride in his work. We called Darren (after reading WOMO) to add a couple of fans and light fittings. His rates were very reasonable for such an experienced tradie. When he went into the roof space for the fans he uncovered some of the oldest (and dodgiest) wiring head ever seen. Being a true professional he discussed it with me and showed me what was happening in my roof. To give you an example the last owner had been doing his own wiring with speaker wire! Darren had to rewire half my house which he managed in a short space of time and for a great price. I'd be happy to give a verbal reference for him. I will be asking him back for any further electrical work I need done.

After losing power to my entire apartment, I sourced Darren through WOM. He came by after I called him, quickly solved the problem, and also accommodated additional requests easily. He's genuine, efficient, honest, and has a great sense of humour. Happy to recommend him in a heart beat to anyone needing an exceptional electrician.

We had Darren out to sort out some issues with our light switches. He was fantastic. Extremely generous with his time, and definitely went the extra yard to ensure that all the issues that we identified were resolved. further to this, he only charged us for 5 hours labour even though it must have taken him the equivalent of over a day to sort everything out (he actually need to attend over two days, and he sourced and supplies parts as well). We could not have been happier with the service.

We had Darren out recently to re-wire all our lighting. Darren is extremely professional and very good at what he does. Darren is highly knowledgeable and offered us heaps of great advice on some of our future electrical needs. Darren is friendly, honest and trustworthy and carried out the work promptly and at a very competitive price. We didn't just get an electrician when we called on Respect Electric Services, we got a trusted expert always willing to give sound advice, even when the solution was 'I can do that, or you can grab something from Bunnings for cheap". Darren was genuinely passionate about improving our home, which showed in his "nothing is impossible " attitude as well as his sound advice on other trustworthy, good-value tradies when the need arose. Not only will we call on him again, but I would want his opinion on any future work before I started. I am certain that you won't be disappointed in choosing this service.

When we first spoke to Darren and after several calls to other electricians for a small job that we had, he immediately won us over with his professionalism. Darren came immediately when we called and proceeded to change our broken electrical switches. Although it was a small job for him he was happy to do it. Darren came and installed various electrical fittings (sensors, changed lighting, a fan and some USB power points). He has always been candid and respectful in our dealings with him. I couldn't speak higher of him.

Darren is an absolute legend. Regardless of the size of the job, he returns calls and gives you an idea of when and what time he can do the job. He did the job above and beyond his scope of works. Even installed our house number on the wall free of charge. Very reliable tradesman. He is up there in my good books.

He was very friendly and gave us some great advice which kept price low. He was very hard working and committed. Darren came at midday and worked solid through to 9pm to finish the job as he did not want to leave it not completed. I would absolutely not hesitate to use Darren again or recommend him to friends, family & others.

We used Darren for a large range of services - new light switches (incl fancy dimmers), new switchboard and other little bits of updates to our home. He was awesome! It was great to have found him thru womo. He is a great character and did a great job. He's our go-to electrician now and recommend him to anyone. His price wasn't too bad either.

We chose Darren based on the numerous positive reviews he's received. We were so thrilled with his service! He showed up on time, and was happy to do the job another Sparky had said wasn't possible. "If Darren can't do it, no one can".
We had some pendant lights hung which seemed too tricky for the last guy, as we're in an apartment with very little space in the ceiling...

This review is long overdue, but we just want to thank Darren for doing such an awesome job replacing and putting in new LEDs and light switches for us. He was really great to work with - he gave us recommendations, worked with us with our tight budget and also made sure we were happy with his work. A really friendly guy and his service is highly recommended!

Darren is friendly and a professional and it didn't bother him that he had to come back on two other occasions (last visit, he didn't even charge us). Competitive pricing and don't mind working on the weekends. Highly recommended.

Sensational service, cost effective (i.e. reasonable cost and remains consistent with quote), excellent quality workmanship, honest, punctual and flexible. Darren helped us out with rewiring much of our Victorian era home, from a new board, multiple points and lights, bathroom fixtures, antenna, right through to the rear light. Darren worked in with reno work that was underway and remained level headed and flexible throughout. In addition to Darren’s professionalism and great quality service/product, he’s a great guy. Highly recommend and will def call again! A+++.
