I live in Oakleigh and I called Darren after reading great reviews from WOMO. My oven blew and that somehow blew the switchboard, and I had no electricity in my apartment. Darren came on schedule, and fixed the switchboard and detected something else in my switchboard that was not working. He is friendly, easy going, knowledgeable, and the best electrician I have had. His charges were so reasonable. I told him he will be the electrician for us and my daughters' homes from now onwards. Great guy!

Darren and Andrew installed some new LED downlights in our home, replaced the old halogen downlights with new LED downlights and replaced ceiling fans.

They were very professional. They kept us informed, turned up on time, made good suggestions and worked hard the entire time they were at our home. They clearly know their subject. Also, they were good natured, cheerful and pleasant to have around the house.

Overall, we were very pleased with their work and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

When in doubt...ring an Electrician! I rang Darren on a Sunday with what I thought was a mild emergency, however, Darren was very obliging and talked me through my situation over two phone calls and sorted out my electrical problem. Crisis was averted, new toaster needed and my household was back to watching the footy - thanks Darren :)

Darren installed 2 smoke alarms at my residence today. He was both courteous and thorough, not only tidying up previous work from other sparkies that needed finishing touches, but persevering to interconnect the alarms even though access was a nightmare. 10/10, I've found my electrician for life.

Darren provides the absolute best service! He is always contactable, on time and nothing is too much trouble. I have had him come to my shop 3 times before we opened to sort out power issues and then to install pendant lighting and a sign. Highly recommend him!!

Darren was a pleasure to deal with. From the initial conversation he was legitimate and straight talking. He came on time which was a big shock as I'm used to tradies not showing up. He was quick with his work and no doubt will be using and recommending him again.

Darren and Mitch, thanks a bunch for the great work you guys have done for us. Respect Electric definitely lives up to the high expectations set by the previous positive reviews. We had Darren installed 4 15amp GPO for our cafe, he was willing to come on the weekend to do a quote, got the job done within 4 hours and cleaned up everything after. In short, good old-fashioned quality service with a smile and all at a very reasonable price. I would recommend Darren for sure and he will definitely be my go to electrician.
