After a power outage, certain powerpoints in our house were out of order. I had called a number of electricians before finding Darren and I was met with many that were 'too busy' or couldn't be bothered to schedule me in on a Saturday. Upon phoning Darren, he was helpful over the phone and quickly arranged an appointment to see to our electrical problem. During his visit, he not only solved our problem (no matter what it took, working above and beyond), but gave us advice on the long term benefits of fitting LED lights and other 'handy man hints'. Darren was extremely approachable, friendly, efficient and charged fairly. Highly recommended and will be calling him again for our next job (if unfortunate enough to have to do so..).

I phoned Darren for a quote to replace 26 downlights with LED Lights. He was very helpful showing me a few lights for different areas of the house. Extremely happy with the job done I will be passing on his details to friends. An easy to get along with tradesman, payment made easy using my credit card.

Had Darren upgrade the switchboard and install a new electric oven and a new circuit for the electric hot plate. Very professional service and arrived on time.

We moved into our new home around 6 mths ago and decided to install led lights and fans, our building experience wasn't pleasant prior to calling Darren, however he managed to show us that good tradesman are still around. He impressed us with the time he took to discuss several options with us for the lighting and suggested we shop around and purchased the fans we wanted. We decided on fitting led lights both inside and out and some more power points in the alfresco area. It all cost a small fortune getting all the work done, but well worth it. The house Looks great and has a much better feel about it.

I recently had my house rewired and Darren worked around the clock in getting it complete including working over public holidays and weekends and during those really hot days over summer. Darren went beyond the call and provided additional services such as spending an hour connecting our stereo system together and running the cables underneath the floor which he did at no additional cost. Darren was a great communicator and gave good advice as to the placement of lights/switches and built in redundancy for future improvements which were very well thought out. He is a very genuine guy and as his name suggests, a very respectable, decent and reliable tradesman and I would have no hesitation in using him again. The price he quoted swans exactly the price I paid and so was very satisfied with the level of workmanship and value.

Respect electric installed 6 led downlights, 3 led sensor lights and 4 additional power points in our investment property. darren found our lighting cables needed an upgrade he took photos in the ceiling space and explained the issue we agreed to install a new circuit for lights. darren provided us with an Invoice when finished and a electrical certificate. will be using his services again.

We hired Darren to install 3 remote controlled Ceiling fans last month, my wife and I were so happy with his work and attitude that we rehired him to take on our new bathroom extension for our home. Not only did Darren complete the work in a suitable time, he also organised a plaster & plumber to contact us for independent quotes, we also hired those guys. My wife and I are very happy with our new bathroom.

I called Darren during the heat wave last month, our restaurant in Ascot Vale was losing half its lighting in the restaurant due to the circuit breaker in the switchboard constantly tripping and the downstairs delivery area also lost all power to lights in the stairwell. Darren arrived late in the day before the evening rush. He found the problem quickly and advised me that a cable had burnt through, due to sitting on top of a Downlight. Darren managed to repair the damaged cable before we opened for our evening trade. He then investigated our stairwell issue and found due to a water leak in our plumbing that the cables had shorted out located under the pipes causing them melt together. We have hired Darren to replace all the current lighting with new LED Downlights. Very honest and pleasant to deal with, nice finding a tradesman who doesn't charge the earth and prior to work advises the job at hand.

Darren installed our sphere pendant light in place of an existing halogen light bulb. He arrived punctually, and knew exactly what was needed for the replacement. He was very careful in positioning the sphere light aesthetically without damaging the ceiling, and even gave us a tutorial on how the electrical connections work, this gave us the assurance that safety standards are met. We were glad we didn't install it ourselves. The installation also came with a certificate of electrical safety. I contacted several electricians for quotes and the price range varied significantly. In terms of his excellent quality of service, I felt that the price was honest and very reasonable. He even fixed some other cabling for us for free. This is definitely a service worthy of Respect! Highly recommended.

Where have you been all my life Darren. Not only did you install my new oven for me (which looks great) you also fixed the power in the spare room which 2 other sparkies couldn't do. Next time your in the area pop in and ill cook you dinner in my new oven. Highly recommend

I cannot recommend Darren highly enough. He was brilliant. Even though I had originally asked him to come for one thing only, when I changed the specs of the job he was extremely accommodating and did the whole lot in the most time and cost effective manner. Darren came and wired up an extension on home with new LED lighting and wired up kitchen with all appliances. Very neat work, cleans up after job finished and ensured i was happy with all work before leaving. Easy to deal with. Cheers

Remove one double power point and a tv antenna point and install two double power points and a tv antenna point - all in the same room. Challenging project due to low tin roof and restricted space between walls. Worked more hours than anticipated and did a great job. Did not try to charge me any extra than the original quote. Would recommend and hire again.

Respect Electric did a greta job. Darren is easy to work with, very knowledgable, and 'nothing was ever a problem'.

He followed up and took and calls when I had questions, did all jobs on time, and was totally trustworthy.
