I was very very disappointed on returning to what was once our favourite restaurant. Arrived at 5.20 and did not even get a drink till 6pm. The subsequent drink orders were done at the bar by one of our sons who also brought them to the table. The service was poor and given that at the time we went (early because we had a little one with us) there were very few people in the restaurant, really unforgivable. I'd say the manager just wasn't up to the job - in fact he really didn't seem to care. We were told they were short staffed but that did not stop them adding the 10% public holiday surcharge (which I assume is to cover the cost of staff on such days) or charging for the child's dinner although signs on the table clearly state children eat free!! I have to say our waitress was friendly but that really did not compensate. The food itself was average. Ribs were good, steak was very undercooked and quite cold, the "special" Texas steak was unavailable because they did not have the ingredients (onions and capsicum????) and the lamb chops were the strangest cut I've ever seen. There were piles of dirty dishes on the tables at the back of the restaurant but the wait staff really did not seem to be in a rush to sort them out. In the ladies bathroom, there were no hand towels or dryer. Overall, very overpriced for an underdone meal. Won't be going back as there are much better steak places around now.550

Went it for a birthday, Order a half rack of ribs and my partner had the full rack. There were differences in the amount of sauce on each set of ribs and how long they had been cooked for with mine having been well over cooked. Both sets of ribs were pretty poor. Given the name is ribs and rumps these really should be up there with the best ribs ever. The price is suited to the best ribs ever but the reality is that they really are of poor quality. The service was very slow, the waiter was very friendly but very over stretched and forgot about us a few times. He also told us there was a competition among the waiters of who could sell the most cocktails and was pushy/disappointed when we didn't order cocktails and made us feel pretty guilty. Left there feeling very disappointed and we won't be returning.

Went here 2 weeks ago and was hoping to have a real good feed. The prices were the first thing I noticed and they made sense when I saw the portion size, however I ordered ribs and chicken and sadly the chicken was dry and flavourless and the ribs were more bone than meat. I paid over $40 for my meal and I guess I was let down by the quality of what I got for the price I paid. Maybe I just went on a bad night because everyone else seems to have amazing experiences, might give it another shot and hopefully they will win me over.

This steakhouse is better then most for 2 reasons: first, the quality of the beef is superior then other restaurant on the same price level: second, they always seem to get you steak cooked right. Although one time i got a stinky mashed potato that was promptly taken off the bill.

Mouth watering ribs! DELICIOUS basting and food comes out relatively quickly too! Always coming back for more and the service is super friendly.

Expensive but really good! Good serving of food & attentive staff. The restaurant was a bit noisy but the food make up for it. I had the Wagyu steak which was so so good. One meal I really enjoyed & would go back for! Recommended.

wow this place is impressive the food is great its beautiful in manly,also the service is very good it was nice to not feel rushed sometimes you do feel they have the table on a timer but not at ribs and rumps

The Food here is fantastic. Massive portions served on big wooden chopping boards. The ribs can get quite messy-but they hand out bibs! (probably not the best choice for a romantic night out). Service is excellent. Perfect view over Manly beach if you can get a table at the window.
note: i haven't tried the seafood
