Pretty decent Vietnamese restaurant. Food is of good quality. Easy to use paper ordering sheet. Service is ok, quite straightful- blunt but is due to the language barrier. Value is decent for what you pay. Worth trying

We just love this place when we come up from the country. It's Vietnamese street food at its finest - the Chicken Curry is to die for and the entree Prawn and Chicken Rice Paper Rolls are fabulous. Love their method of taking orders - you write your own choice, so if something goes wrong with the ordering (rarely does), it's documented.

I've never had food like this before, it's an awesome variety of vietnamese and I simply loved the way they cook their meat, I had the cold roles and a meat and vegetable dish and will definitely come back if I come to melbourne

Not all the food I had was that special, but the meal, which included a main dish for me and a vegetarian coleslaw shared between two of us, was very satisfying. The Hue beef soup was okay, but I really liked the salad which was full of different textures, colours, and tastes. The soup cost $9.50 and coleslaw $10. A nice touch were the large flower shaped wall lights near the door, which provided shelter for one or two sparrows which flew in and out of the cafe now and again.

A recent trip to Melbourne meant only one thing - a foodies quest for the best cold rolls in town. Considering my cold roll addiction I thought I was in heaven when I saw the name of this place. The inside was quite cozy and judging by the 'full house' it was looking as if the cuisine would be quite tasty. The menu was quite extensive with soups, pho's and of course entrees with, you guessed it RICE PAPER ROLLS! yay!
I was keen on having a main meal also however much to my dismay I was told all the dishes had MSG - a big no no for me!
Sooo, I had to make do with cold rolls without sauce and a prawn salad...again without the sauce (essentially cabbage and a few prawns).
I don't know how to describe the dishes other than bland...but I guess that's really my own fault.
So, all in all I can't really give this place the best review - the whole msg factor ruined the experience for me. I'm sure if there was a sauce to accompany the dishes without msg I would have a decent review and opinion.
For those without allergies go the whole hog and I'm sure the food will be somewhat more authentic.

Approximate cost: $10

I eat here once a week. Yes I love it. Their Chicken Tom Yum is the best I have ever had. I love Tom yum and this place is always great. Plus the servings are huge. Their Tom Yum has become my number 1 comfort food

Approximate cost: $10.00
