was so nice to sit with friends and chat over a nice hot chocolate and cake the staff are so nice and friendly didn't have to wait long to be served and the price was perfect

My dinning experience for this shop is a great scenic view on the Hastings river with very friendly staff and very high quality food. Serves a great lunch and breakfast for adults and children of all ages I think. And is at a reasonable price so next time you drive Near it drop in and have a nice meal

I went to this cafe last week to celebrate my birthday and what a treat. I had the pear and feta salad for $19. It was a large serve, fresh and delicious. My daughter had the fish and chips. We finished off our meals with a delicious dessert and coffee . We both agreed it was the nicest lunch we have had out for quite some time. The service was very friendly and professional. The view over the Hastings river was glorious and although we were about three tables back from the edge we still had marvellous views. Tables were set quite apart so did not feel packed in like sardines and could not overhear others conversations which was very nice. All in all, a wonderful time and will certainly be going back again and again.

The food was perfect for all at the table, fresh and delicious. wish I had found it earlier. For the quality of the meals i would call it cheap not expensive like the previous reviewer. $15-20 seems fairly standard for a nice cafe.

A great cafe by the river so great views, and dining outside or in.Great food. they also have a florist at the front of the cafe, and a collection of cameras through the ages. can be a bit expensive, so go for special occasions
