I have been a regular at Rixons for many years and have always left extremely satisfied and pleased with my cut and colour. Scott is a skilled perfectionist, a truly dedicated hairdresser. Anna is a master colourist, but I am always happy with another team member if necessary as the staff are all well trained. I highly recommend this friendly, welcoming salon.

Overpriced and under experienced hairdressers, that ruined my hair.
Young employees that are too busy chatting to each other and don't concentrate. I paid a lot for my hair to get it to the level I like and it was ruined in less than an hour. It is cheaper to go to a Melbourne salon than these rip off merchants. NEVER AGAIN!

My experience at Rixons on Packingtop street was excellent, I took in a pic of a short style that I really wanted and I loved the result. Big compliments to Shelby who really knows how to cut fine hair. Yes it's a little expencive but the rixon staff obviously are up on the latest training techniques so they know what they're doing .
Will definately go back.

A great place to get your hair cut if you are looking for a new style. Unfortunately I couldn't afford to get my hair cut there on a regular basis as it is out of my price range. But a great place if you want to treat yourself and feel pampered

Just recently had my hair cut here for the first time and was very happy with the cut and the friendly salon atmosphere, my husband has had his hair cut here for many years and though it's pricy he is happy with his haircut

Rixons employ a large amount of staff, so the service really depends on who you get and how experienced they are. I have had my hair cut by Kylie on many occasions and she consistently does an okay job. I think the salon is much more suited to trendy female cuts, than mens hair.
