A wonderful large old pub just a few minutes walk from our apartment. The dining area is quite large with pleasant views of the ocean. Prices were a bit hefty but our meals were sensational. We ordered the garlic bread and also house bread with came with some creamy garlic mashed potato and an olive oil/balsamic dip, so delicious. My husband and son enjoyed the oysters kilpatrick for entree and for mains the ribs (they were huge) and also a seafood platter, I tried the chicken schnitzel with mexican topping with salad and chips. Absolutely delicious! The chips were so tasty, loved the seasoning. The staff were friendly and our meals arrived promptly. We found the tables were not large enough to cater for the servings we received, we ended up needing two tables.

Lovely busy little pub. Good hearty meals with plenty on the plate. Very friendly staff and the food came out fast which is always a good thing with kids in tow. The dining chairs were not at all comfortable but this is only a minor thing you could fault anything else

A very old hotel which has been done up very well, a large dining room and several smaller rooms. Went for dinner on a cold Wednesday night, and there were numerous groups of people eating, which was good considering the night. Plenty to pick from on the menu, and you are able to order half serves. It is extra to have sauces on certain dishes, but still a reasonable price. There is a salad and vegie bar, and bread rolls which you help yourself to. Service was quick and the waitress were happy and helpful about history on the hotel. Right on the foreshore so may get very busy at times, so a booking may be helpful. Accommodation upstairs and pokies also available. Very pleasant evening.

Great meals and friendly staff what more can I say. It was so busy over the long weekend, but the wait for our meals was well worth it. A few of us decided to share the seafood platter as the serving was generous, so fresh and delicious. A couple of friends had steak, veg and chips. Great meals with a nice cold beef. Great pub meals!

Approximate cost: $14

We went here for tea when staying in robe in winter. Got there about 5:30pm and dining room was already fully booked out, so we had to sit in the pub. Wasn't very nice, but the food was delicious and came out quickly.

Approximate cost: $20.00

This iconic hotel has a very nice dining room which becomes very busy during the summer and holiday months. The dining room is well set out and well maintain with friendly staff. The meals are lovely especially the fresh fish (my favourite). A very old hotel that quite a few years ago was upgraded but still has a nice atmosphere
