They build with care and integrity.

2 years since moved in from new build. Front bedroom and main bathroom extensive water damage black mold main support rotted and other rotten wood. There initial fix was to spray mold killer and there was no rotten wood to fix. After stopping that bodgy fix they had a handful attempts at repairing the bedroom rotted main support and removing black mold and rotten wood but were not able to fix it. They smashed a hole in the main shower a few months back and that's as far as they got. 10 months it took roonsleigh to come out to start works as all roof and ground water was going into one pipe out onto the road. The water tank remained empty and water was backing up over the top of the gutter when it rained and high ground water levels. Finally they got water to the tank but were not able to fix the pipe that steps up 70mm and holds water. Had to get building inspector in and here are some of the faults.
There are areas of open concrete voids to the slab edge. These areas are now showing the exposed reinforcement bars. Steel was not installed with the minimum concrete coverage area. Engineer has to come out. Front bedroom Areas of rectification only have short blocks attached to the bottom of significantly rotten framing members. Roonsleigh had to get an engineer out but decided not to. Failed to comply with the painting of endgrains on external timber to protect from moisture. Roof cavity has loose nut and bolt connections. It is critical that the builder ensure all structural connections are fastened. They have to pull op the outside slab to laundry as not done to Australian standards. None of the fittings going into the outside cladding was sealed from rain. The 3 water pump pipes and 3 hotwater system pipes and outside taps. Some internal shower fittings not sealed as well. Got a tech out as the dishwasher is leaking steam and damaging surrounding cabinetry. Found out that the floor, benchtop and cabinetry is not level and cant adjust the dishwater level as it hits the cabinetry before coming level. They talk alot about fixing it but never get to it. They have promised to reimburse me my out of pocket exspense but this has never happened.
Example of dealing with roonsleigh. Our house had a key lock on every window. Roonsleigh could not shut the window so instead of fixing it they removed the key lock and replaced with a smaller latch with no lock. When i 1st told roonsleigh there response was we asked the boys and no-one removed the lock. Got onto them again and they then said that they can secure the window but i will be left with drill holes in the window frame. Not good enough so next they suggest a piece or wood in the window.
This is the process with every fault. They first deny then you have to battle to get them to do there repair properly. Still no action on the lock they removed two years ago.
